This is a a group for people who live and work In Long Island and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.

Some of the event types we offer are : Speed dating, Museums, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.  Some events are associated with Weekenddating and others are soc123, while others are not.

NOTE:  this group is NOT about seduction, wingman or pick up artists.

The goal of this group is to create friendships and support physical, emotional, health through connection and collaboration. All activities will take place outdoors until a time when indoors becomes safer.

NY's who love Carnival and want to travel in a group for increased safety and fun! We will plan group trips to Brazil (both Rio and Bahia), New Orleans, Trinidad & Toronto and other as the year progresses! Get ready for a lot of fun and extra ordinary adventures!!!

OK - So summer is winding down (alright, already gone, past tense, LOL), and that’s all the more reason you should come out for a nice leisurely couple of hours of good food, good friends and good conversation. Given the busy schedule we all have, I will schedule brunches once, maybe twice a month. <br>A lot of nice restaurants offer great lunch menus, instead of the traditional brunch, and those restaurants will be an option, too. Always open to suggestions as we’ll, so please let me know by meetup message or on the site if you know of a great new (or old) place<br> <br>The seating will be limited to six so we can talk and get to know each other, while accommodating social distancing. Brunches will begin at 2 because I don’t sleep, and you are off from work and deserve to sleep in for a little bit. <br>Come and join us for a little while, before the work week and the rest of your real life resumes, with all of its unending demands on your time and your patience. <br>You’ll be glad you did. <br>Promise. <br>;)
