Meditation for Spiritual Awareness: Wooster & Massillon

Meditation for Spiritual Awareness Meetups are open to people of all faiths and backgrounds, and all meditation practices. Whether you are starting out and want to explore this further, or have been meditating for years, these meet-ups aim at increasing our understanding of the technique and improving our practices.

People have been practicing meditation for centuries. Today we see a surge in its popularity as new benefits continue to be discovered. Meditation has been proven to benefit both our bodies and minds. Many are now realizing an additional advantage — the tremendous benefits spiritual meditation has for our soul.

Regions of Light that embrace souls with a powerful love await each one of us within. Sights and sounds beyond anything we could ever imagine reside within us. Incredible music, far beyond any that can be produced by worldly instruments, is reverberating at every moment.

Does it Cost Anything to Learn this Meditation?

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj says like all other gifts of nature, spirituality is free. He teaches meditation free of charge, and programs sponsored by Science of Spirituality are also free.

Do I Need to Learn Yoga in Order to Meditate?

Unlike some forms of yoga, this meditation technique does not involve difficult practices or rigorous postures. We can meditate when sitting in any pose that is comfortable, in which we can sit still for an extended period of time. Meditation on the inner Light and Sound is so simple it can be practiced by anyone.

Can we Remain in Our Religion and Practice this Meditation?

The spiritual teachers of this path never advocate that we change our religion or withdraw from the world to practice meditation. In fact, a hallmark of this path is positive mysticism, the belief that we should fulfill our duties and obligations to our families and societies while pursuing our spiritual goals.

Wadsworth Adventurers
Welcome to Wadsworth Adventurers! My name is Joanna and I've been a member of "WA" since its inception over 6 years ago. I am honored that starting Jan 2022 the original organizer, Jeff, has asked me to step in and keep WA going strong for years to come. Along with my husband, Dan, we welcome you to the WA family! Who we are: WA are group of like-minded adult adventurers that love to learn new skills, challenge ourselves and enjoy the company of others while doing all things outdoors. We engage in all types of outdoor activities such as: hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, kayak/SUP and many other sports. We also enjoy all sorts of social events and are looking for new ways to connect on a deeper level. How we "roll": We limit our event attendance so that we can provide a more meaningful experience through small group interaction. We like to learn a first name and a little about each person. The idea of herding 60+ people through an event is not on our radar at all. We are not about mining for numbers, we truly look to connect with our members. For that reason, we monitor our RSVP's for no-shows or chronic late cancellations. Signing up for an event means that someone else may not get the chance to join an experience. We ask that you please be mindful of your availability and interest when committing to a WA event. Philosophy: We are a community of outdoor learners and teachers alike with a "no one left behind" philosophy. We believe in helping our group-either through personal support, education or gear - and encourage anyone looking to explore the outdoors in a supportive, welcoming environment. No need to be shy here! Why "WA": Our group is for beginners through advanced adventurers! We encourage new suggestions and ideas - and always look for fun ways to enjoy the outdoors and learn something new. We will mainly base our events out of Summit County - but trips can take us to neighboring states, across the country or even around the world! What are you waiting for?
