Little Friends BLE is a homeschool group for all ages. Please contact an organizer if you want to post classes and field trips. Classes can be in person, virtual, or hybrid. These will be enrichment and social classes added to your base curriculum. Please be sure your contact information and the name of your congregation is in your profile so we can reach you when needed. We also request you contact an organizer before inviting new members. While family groups are more than welcome on Meetup, anyone under the age of 18 attending an event must be accompanied by an adult.

Welcome to The Variety Seekers! Are you someone who loves trying new things but finds it hard to stick with just one hobby? This might be the group for you! We’re all about small, one-off adventures that make for great stories and suitable work discussion topics. The goal is just to make friends, have fun, and have people to hang out with who are interested in participating in various experiences. There are currently no fees and this group is not associated with any business or organization. If we do something that costs money for now it will just be you paying whomever is hosting us. For example if we go out to eat you would just pay your bill to the restaurant, if we go hot air ballooning then you just pay the hot air balloon place. Events that don't cost anything will simply have no fees. I started this group because my wife isn't keen on going out, and I get bored easily. I realized I didn't want to stick with the same activities or the same groups all the time. So, if you’re like me and enjoy a wide variety of activities, come join us! The only caveat I need to add here is that I'm currently expecting everyone to be over 18, some locations may require you to even be 21. I'm not prepared to treat anyone in any way except as an adult. Here are just a few examples of what we might do: ``` Boating and water skiing Cookouts Kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding Urban exploring in NYC Hiking anywhere Trying new restaurants Shooting archery and clays Cooking, Grilling World travel and weekend road trips Board games and trips to places like Barcade Even random humanitarian activities ``` Think of this group as a “choose your own adventure.” I’ll post the activities I plan to do, and you’re welcome to join me. If you have ideas for activities, let me know, and I’ll see if we can add them to the list. Milford Meetup: A group for people new in town and lifelong residents of Milford and the surrounding Pocono area to get to know each other. Events will include things like hiking (Milford Knob, Cliff Trail, etc.), attending events at Log Tavern and Back Road Brewery, meeting up at local festivals and events in town, or dog walks around town for pet owners. Welcome Adventurers! If you love hiking, swimming, kayaking, camping & backpacking and generally the outdoors all year round, then this is the group for you! My favorite type of hike is one where we explore and linger at a reasonable pace. I love mapping and creating new hikes. I live smack in the middle of all 3 borders of PA, NJ & NY and am acquainted with many of the parks in my surrounding vicinity! You will see a variety of parks that we will frequent. This is mostly a hiking group. We will post hiking events on a regular basis along with other events such as swiking (swim hikes), camping, kayaking & backpacking! ;) Just know that my usual MO is to explore. Things to know: * 1. **Hiking Difficulty Levels** \- Please know that you must be aware of your hiking level\. Most hikes will NOT \(or never\) be easy unless specified as "Easy"\. I am accustomed to posting information on the difficulty level of the hikes as well as the overall length of the hike\. * 2. **Group Etiquette:** Please note that for those who have a stringent time frame on a hike or who want to forage ahead and speed hike, you are welcome to leave the group but I am in no way responsible for you if you get lost. The group is under no obligation to keep up with extremely fast paced hikers.
