Plumstead Friends Meeting invites you to meet with us for worship every Sunday at 9:30 am. Originally built in 1752, our sunlight-filled meeting house exudes peace and simplicity, without running water or electricity, just as it did when our predecessors worshipped. The essential experience of Friends is that of a direct, unmediated relationship with the Divine. We meet weekly for an hour of silent prayer or meditation, only interrupted when the Spirit moves us. Girlies! Do you find it tough to meet friends in a comfortable and easy way? I set out to make this group so women can meet friends without the pressure of planning a date, keeping the conversation flowing, and having those awkward break-the-ice moments 😭 All you have to do is just show up with a bunch of other girls looking to make lifelong friends, have some food or just a coffee, and chat! The premise of this group is that we will host frequent, small intimate gatherings of 10-15 people so that there are enough people to have great conversation flowing but not so many people that the group breaks up into many smaller sub-groups. Smaller subgroups prevent people from adequately meeting everyone and can make it hard for introverts to join in the conversation. As an introvert myself I find having a good conversation and meeting friends in a large group is just as awkward as being one on one! This group accepts people of all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, etc. This group will be a safe space for women of any background and hate will not be tolerated in any form!

Brunch and Beyond is a group of single adults aged 55 and up expanding their friendships with others who are in similar solo circumstances. Chances for you to get out and socialize whether it be brunch, diner, trivia, live music or movies when we get together there is always lively conversation and laughter. We encourage members to become event hosts and share their particular interests with the group. B&B offers an opportunity for members to make new friends, socialize, and have fun in a safe environment. Please remember some of our members have recently lost a spouse/companion through death or divorce. Just getting out of the house is a big step, let's make that easier, not harder. However that being said, if two consenting adults decide to get together, that is their business. Our members contribute $10/year to cover the Meetup site fees, payable to our Organizer Irene or Assistant Organizer Jerry when you attend your second event. **New members must refrain from posting Greetings, ideas or messaging other members until having attended at least two events and gotten to know us and paid dues.** Most of our activities are in the Upper Bucks and Montgomery County areas of PA. The Upper Bucks County/Lehigh Valley area has become a hotbed of activity in the beer and wine world in recent years and this group will explore this booming part of our local economy and culture. There are more than 20 microbreweries in this region and more than 30 wineries. Brewpubs, craft beer bars and wine bars are also fair game for this group. We'll learn about the beer and wine-making process and of course get to sample the fruits of our local entrepreneurs' labors. Welcome to the Bucks County and Lehigh Valley Historic Tavern Trail! Bucks and Lehigh (and neighboring) Counties in Pennsylvania are rich in history, dating back to colonial times. This group will explore that history through the bars, pubs, taverns and restaurants that have served these communities for hundreds of years and played a part in the history of our nation. Think McCoole's Red Lion Inn, Brick Tavern Inn, Spinnerstown Inn, Jamison Publick House, Bethlehem Hotel and many more. So if you're interested in meeting new people, socializing, soaking in the historic atmosphere and learning something about the history of these establishments, this group is for you. Meetups will be monthly to semi-monthly at a rotating location, and most events will feature a historic presentation of some kind. Just casual get-togethers where we have a chance to mix-and-mingle, enjoy some food and drink, make intelligent conversation and learn something about the history of the venue where we're meeting. This group is for couples, in the age range of 38-50.  Since the weather is perfect for outdoor adventures, this group is for anybody interested in traveling to the mountains for nature hiking and exploring, seeing haunted attractions around Halloween, dining out, adventures to historical sites and the occasional drinks, movies, international travel, shore vacations, and dancing. We are also opened to any suggestions you might have too, within reason to all members. 

My husband and I started this group to meet new couples, closer to our age. We are outgoing, down to earth people that like to get out sometimes and have fun and we enjoy meeting people. We are a straight couple so this is NOT a swingers group. You do not have to be married to be a couple. You can be a couple, engaged or married. When you say your going to come to our meetups, please be there or let us know in advance that you cannot make it. Its just common courtesy to the rest of the members and us.

Suburban Golf Weekenders This group is designed to let players come together to play golf throughout the Delaware Valley. Our schedule will include weekly golf outings, and, eventually, planning possible 'Road Trip Outings' to see courses you wouldn't typically play. We have several beautiful and challenging courses that will be on our schedule, as well as some of our members local favorites. New for 2024, some of our events will have two closest to the pin holes with prize money paid out to two individuals per event. The dues will be used to pay for the website, prizes, and lost fees for no-shows when needing to pay in advance! If you have a rsvp for one of our events, if for some reason you can't make it, you must update you're rsvp a minimum of 48 hours in advance. If you cannot keep, you're rsvp'ing current, it could result in removal from the group! Meeting new people is a priority, as well as, exhibiting golf etiquette and adhering to the pace of play rule of golf.
