New Hope Metaphysical Society

We are the New Hope Metaphysical Society!

We are an organization that serves as a source of metaphysical education and spiritual enlightenment for the “New Age” community of the Greater Delaware Valley of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
We also provide a “safe haven”, a place where  people seeking personal support, spiritual community and metaphysical education can routinely gather together on a monthly basis.

“We Make a Difference In Your Life!”

Founded in 1990, The New Hope  Metaphysical Society, is an organization dedicated to “making the world a better place”  and “making a real difference in your life” by promoting spiritual ideals, universal laws and metaphysical principles to the community at large. It does so by offering a variety of programs, seminars and lectures to the public at its monthly meetings and through its outreach program.  These meetings give the public an opportunity to hear high quality speakers on a variety of New Age topics which serve to educate and enlighten them to a variety of spiritual and metaphysical perspectives.

Also serving as a “safe haven”, it consistently offers a place and time where  people seeking personal support and  spiritual community (as well as metaphysical education) can gather together in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.  Attending these programs, gives an individual a chance to meet with like-minded people who can share in their interest in the metaphysical, spiritual or New Age dimension of life.

Doylestown Lonely Hearts Friends Group

Doylestown, PA

Doylestown Lonely Hearts Friends Group
I was not always a lonely person. Married, two kids, friends, community oriented and busy. Now at 60, my daughter passed away from cancer, I’m divorced and even though I have my personality back, I find myself lonely with not much to do. I can’t be the only one like this. I’m looking to start an intimate group of people that want to genuinely become friends and share the ups and downs of life. If we become friends, then maybe what friends we have, may become friends as well. Who knows, we may all have a social life again. This group has to be as low pressure as possible. I’m not sure if this is allowed but if you’re a Trump supporter, this would not be a group for you. I don’t want this to be a bar hangout group but social drinking is fine, meaning not the purpose of getting together. The goal is to develop strong bonds in a time where it seems impossible to do. I would like to limit this group to no more that 25. I’m both an introvert and an extrovert depending on the situation. That number could change depending how things go. Please be within 10 miles of Doylestown, PA. The group should not be for people who have a large social circle, who have not been negatively impacted in some way (something life changing) although if you are a compassionate and empathetic/caring person, you get a pass. This is a group for caring people who want to connect as friends. It’s not designed for a dating group but if a spark occurs between two people that’s great. Please be a good conversationalist and care about the world and not just what’s happening five feet in front of you. I think this is age appropriate for people that are 40+ but if you feel you may fit in, it’s not an absolute. Let’s form some great friendships!

Brunch & Beyond 55 Singles

Sellersville, PA

Brunch & Beyond 55 Singles
Brunch and Beyond is a group of single adults aged 55 and up expanding their friendships with others who are in similar solo circumstances. Chances for you to get out and socialize whether it be brunch, diner, trivia, live music or movies when we get together there is always lively conversation and laughter. We encourage members to become event hosts and share their particular interests with the group. B&B offers an opportunity for members to make new friends, socialize, and have fun in a safe environment. Please remember some of our members have recently lost a spouse/companion through death or divorce. Just getting out of the house is a big step, let's make that easier, not harder. However that being said, if two consenting adults decide to get together, that is their business. Our members contribute $10/year to cover the Meetup site fees, payable to our Organizer Irene or Assistant Organizer Jerry when you attend your second event. **New members must refrain from posting Greetings, ideas or messaging other members until having attended at least two events and gotten to know us and paid dues.** Most of our activities are in the Upper Bucks and Montgomery County areas of PA. One of our objectives is to create friendships outside of Meetups. If you live in NJ, Philadelphia or Reading our events are too far and your membership request will be denied. **We require members to post a current close-up solo picture of themselves.** Join lots of groups, meet lots of people, make new friends, have FUN\~! Address questions to our organizer Irene either by email or at an event. Questions about specific events should be addressed to the host of that event, not the organizer. What have you got to lose? Join Brunch, check us out and RSVP for an event. Come make some new friends. We are expecting you!
