I formed this group to create connections and new friendships with ladies in the Stroudsburg area. Consider it a safe place for coffee, tea and conversation in groups of 8. We will plan to meet weekly to start. Hope you can join! FREE

This group is for those who want to meet new people, build their social circle, and hopefully make lasting friendships. Ideally, we'll schedule weekly or bi-weekly events that range from hiking, brunch, movie nights, board games, or anything else that people would find interesting. Want to check out that new movie but have no one to go with? Let's plan it! Have a restaurant you're dying to try but need a partner? Perfect! If you RSVP yes please change your RSVP. We know last-minute things happen, but if it takes away a spot from someone else who wanted to attend, it's not fair to the group. It's possible after a certain number of no-shows, you may be removed from the group. Specific circumstances will, of course, be considered; just message us with an explanation of why you missed the event and couldn't update your RSVP. We're not asking for personal details, just some kind of acknowledgment!

PALS Members come from a diverse geographic area, including Monroe, Pike, Wayne and Northampton Counties in Pennsylvania; Sussex and Warren County in northern New Jersey and Orange and Sullivan Counties in southern New York. Many members also live in the New York City or Philadelphia metropolitan areas, and have weekend retreats in the Poconos and surrounding counties

Join us in person or online for our new book group! This will be a great opportunity for heartfelt, stimulating conversation and for building community. Each month, we will read and discuss a book with some emphasis on what we can learn from the more-than-human world or what we can do to restore right relationship with it. We’re planning to read fiction and nonfiction, perhaps with some poetry thrown in, and books from a breadth of cultures. Choices will reflect diversity in race, ethnicity, gender and gender expression, sexual orientation, and ability. The group will meet on third Mondays of the month at 6:30pm. You may attend in person (barring terrible weather) or online. Kailash in US is a new community that aims to encourage Spiritual growth via Nature. It is based on the aspects of the Holy Mount Kailash in Tibet where Pilgrims from many faiths of Asia accomplish a Yatra around the Mountain of Kailash of 54Km. It does not include any Temple for worship but Open space for connecting with elements of Nature and be one with Universe. This community will incorporate the aspects of Yatra in the USA as well as in 'US' (within ourselves). The Yatra in USA will be a physical place in Poconos area of PA where a life size Kailash mountain replica will be established in an Open Space alongwith a trail for Parikrama. A Yatri will be able to complete a 54Km Parikrama (Kora) along this trail over a period of time. This community will be a membership and fee based community.

The Pocono Book Club is the first, the original, the authentic, the largest, and the best literary get-together in the Greater Pocono Mountain region. Since 2015, we've met once a month in a relaxing gastronomic setting to discuss everyone's thoughts on the book-of-the-month. Our two simple criteria are that you enjoy reading and then talking about what you read over good food & drink. Fiction is our mainstay, and we've delved into non-fiction; medium-lengthed is our distance, but we can handle the longer and shorter books; in-person and virtual meetings have both happened. Hello everybody! This group is for all astrology fans, buffs and truth seekers in the area regardless of your level of knowledge. Astrology is a true gift to humanity that should be accessible by everyone. I am an internationally certified astrologer by ISAR (International Society of Astrological Research) and have been reading astrology charts for almost two decades. Some of you are probably familiar by my website and some of you have probably seen me in person for a reading. My goal from this group is bringing astrology to the public and educating astrology fans out there while having fun, connecting likeminded people & supporting local businesses. I ran a similar group in Manhattan a decade and half ago and I had over 800 members. Now I am testing the waters here in Stroudsburg. We will be having a weekly meetup on Monday for an hour (7:00 – 8:00 pm) that will be split in half, the first half is to discuss the Astro weather for the week, and the second is for a small astrology topic/lesson. Once a month we will have a full astrology lesson and the meeting will last for 2 hours (7:00 – 9:00 pm). If any of the members want to have additional meetups and share their knowledge, you are welcome to do so by all means! I plan to have the meetups for free, but I ask you to support the venue that will be hosting us. Also, please be respectful and show up when you make a reservation. If you plan to cancel, please try to do so 24 hours in advance. You will be allowed one no show, a second one will get you out of the group.
