Do you Love Halloween? Are you the kind of person that likes to go to Haunted Houses? Do you enjoy setting up Halloween props in your yard? Do you think about next Halloween starting November 1st? Then this is the group for you.

Hiking/Walking Friends in Plano/Frisco/Allen/McKinney

The goal of this group is to build and maintain good health through brisk walking on local paved trails and also through hiking activities locally and further away.

We can track our walks/hikes on a mobile app and post the stats (miles, pace, elevation, etc.) in the comment section.

Objective is 2-3 walks on local paved trails every week for 3-5 miles each.

Chi Friends of North Texas Tai Chi and Qigong Practices

Already know tai chi and qigong and just want someone to practice with? Great! Come practice with us. Don’t know tai chi or qigong but want to learn? Great! Come practice with us. Loyal to a class with a local instructor but want to meet and practice with fellow students outside of class? Great! Keep attending your class and come practice with us between classes. Whether you are an experienced practitioner, teacher or beginner, you are welcome to join our free practice sessions in the park. Free sessions in the park are focused on building community connection among various tai chi and qigong players in the area. We might rotate among various volunteers on who leads the sessions in the park. This is a new group, so some details are still being worked out. The goal is to develop social connections and practice outside of a class environment. I will also post meetups for the classes I teach at Joe Farmer Recreation Center. These classes are free but to get into the center, you must either be a JFRC member (currently $10/month for residents) or purchase a day pass. My goal is to make the art of qigong and tai chi as affordable and accessible as possible so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the benefits. It is up to each participant to adapt the movements to their particular range of motion. Do not perform any movements which have not been approved by your doctor. You accept full liability for any injuries you may incur while attending any of our events.
