We may have suffered from low self-esteem, disappointment, self-loathing, abandonment and shame. We may have felt empty and that nothing was working for us no matter how much we tried. We tried filling that emptiness by using some of the following: drugs, alcohol, relationships and much more to no avail. This meeting is an avenue for those unable to fill that emptiness. Deep down, we felt worthy but the way we were taught may have hindered this filling and we found it difficult to free ourselves. But thankfully, we found a solution in the Bible and by studying we found the willingness to make some positive changes. We decided we were ready to replace bad teachings to live a more positive life. We are committed to this new way of living. This is an open discussion bible study meeting. I will be reading a verse or multiple verses for about 15 min. Then we will have timed shares for 45 min each person will have 3-5 minutes to share. A timekeeper will let us know when our time is over. The sharing time limit will vary on how many people are in the group. No one knows 100% truth that means no one has all the facts. When sharing we share to add to the meeting. If you disagree with another person that's OK. Discuss what you disagree with yourself and to God.” This is a table and everybody’s voice is important. We want to create a no judgment environment for this study.

This group is to help young single parents connect with one another here in Tarrant County! We will have adult events so we can meet one another and have time spent with other adults and also have kid friendly events so we can bring the kiddos along for play dates. Ultimately we want to have a place for single parents to make friends and bond over the joys of being a parent. This group is for young single parents under the age of 30 who are looking to connect with one another and make new friends. We hope to have meet and greets where we can get together and grab dinner or a drink but also have other events to let the kids join in the fun. Things like a day at the park or the zoo, or even water parks.

We will boat mostly at Joe Pool Lake , but we will visit Lake Lewisville, Lake Ray Hubbard, Eagle Mountain Lake, Brazos River, Lake Texoma, Possum Kingdom Lake among other local lakes.

Join this friendly group and you will not be disappointed.  We will be having fun in the sun all summer long out at the lake! 

We need boat owner and people ready to have fun! We will even do some camping on weekend. 

Fees will range from $10 to $30 per person depending on which lake we are at, how many people come out, the price of gas, how much beet you bring ;) etc. We will try to keep it around $20 per person per outing.

Fees include boat, gas for the tow vechile, gas for the boat, equipment, Insurance and so on. If you don't have your own let me tell you boating is an expensive sport so please be considerate and hit the boat captain up with some cash to help cover expenses if you don't have your own boat.
