North Dallas Single Friends is a singles group located in the northern suburbs of Dallas. The majority of our members are in their 40's and 50's (+). Most of our events are located in Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, and Richardson.

Our group engages in activates such as-- Happy Hours, Brunch Gatherings, House Parties. Sporting Events, and whatever else fun we comes up with...

Our goal is to have a fun creative group of friends enjoying great events-- Meeting new friends!

There are no dues for membership to this Meetup-- few times a years will have fund raiser events to cover Meetup site costs.

All of North Texas is growing rapidly and the City of Celina is feeling the positive growth. The Celina Area Professionals (CAP) is an industry exclusive networking group that is committed to helping our community move with the changes and THRIVE!! Celina Area Professionals is designed to provide a unique means for professionals to promote and grow their business, and the business of others, in an environment that fosters the greatest opportunity to network, meet new people and form relationships.

Any card, or board gamers in the north Dallas area? Maybe Allen, The Colony, McKinney, Frisco, Prosper, or Celina Area. This group will look to play Euro games mainly but hey if you have something you want to play bring it along. We can meet at the Thirsty Growler in the Colony on 121 to start out and move to new locations as the group grows. We can shoot for a week night like a Tuesday night to start say 6:30pm and grow or move from there.

Meet other local atheists and freethinkers for whom other existing venues are not convenient, especially college graduates living and working in Denton, but by no means limited thereto. Gather, preferably downtown, for dinner and intelligent conversation, solidarity with other nonbelievers, and make new friends.

Stealth evangelists, however, are not welcome and will be asked to leave.

Freethinkers are generally fun-loving, intelligent, and funny people and the kind of people I like to schmooze with.

Read a good book lately and want to share it with others? Do you prefer poetry, plays, or classical literature? Are you frustrated by the current political atmosphere and would like to discuss various political commentaries? Or are you a sucker for reading science, computer technology, or other research articles? How about autobiographies, biographies, or historical nonfiction/fiction? We believe there is something to learn in everything; We love to read and to discuss stories, philosophies, and ideas, even if we don't agree with them. This is a book club that is designed to embrace multiculturalism, individualism, and to discuss the state of the human condition. Must be tolerant of all races, creeds, sexes, genders, religions, and orientations to join. We generally meetup the first or second Sunday of each month.

To be considered for membership, please fill out our new member questionnaire to tell us a little about you as a reader, to give us an idea of what it is you enjoy reading and what you hope to find in joining the Book Worms of Denton!  We generally limit our membership to people who live in Denton County and who do not already belong to more than ten meetup groups.  If you fall into one or both of these "restricted" categories, you may still apply, but please include an argument that you will really travel up to an hour round trip to attend our meetings or that, out of your umpteen meetup clubs, ours is the one you will faithfully attend!
