Self-Acceptance and Self-Confidence Meetup Group (online)

Janesville, WI

Self-Acceptance and Self-Confidence Meetup Group (online)
Join me the **first Thursday of every month from 7-8:30pm Central** to learn how to (re)build your self-acceptance and self-esteem and to build confidence. ***After you join, please RSVP for the meetings so you can receive the Zoom link. RSVP'ing is the only way you receive the Zoom link. Be sure to add it to your calendar so you have the Zoom link handy and will be reminded of the meeting date and time.*** Each month I create a new presentation which guides and directs our conversation. Although I am facilitating and leading these monthly webinars, open dialogue is encouraged throughout the presentation and at the end to create a better sense of community while allowing all attendees to share their experience, insights, and feedback. Previous attendees have enjoyed this format since the presentation serves as a platform for our meeting and lasts about 45-60 minutes, allowing us the remaining time (it's a 90-minute meeting) for open dialogue, for attendees to ask specific questions, etc. ***I have been offering this for free since 2020. If you are interested in making a donation, it is greatly appreciated. You can visit the home page of this group to find the donation button. Thank you!*** Addressing self-esteem and self-confidence can come from many different angles. Therefore, no matter what the presentation focuses on (fears, insecurities, mindset, the words we tell ourselves, etc.), it all comes back to different ways to build (or rebuild) self-esteem and self-confidence. This will be led by a Certified Life Coach and Certified Hypnotherapist with the intention to help lift each other up in order to live a full life. You can learn more about me, Connie Holmes, the hostess at [My website to get to know me](https://conniejoholmes.com/) To stay in contact by receiving my weekly Monday Morning Motivational Videos as well as to learn of upcoming events and learning opportunities, [sign up here](https://forms.aweber.com/form/13/572779613.htm). If you are interested in my hypnotherapy or life or health coaching services, [schedule a 30-minute FREE strategy session with me](https://calendly.com/bu2bfull/freeconsultation). Thank you!

Christian Entrepreneurs of Madison

Cottage Grove, WI

Are you searching for high-level thinkers making a difference in the world and pushing themselves to be all that they were put on this earth to be?

We're Karmen and Shane Feist of Madison and are looking to expand our circle of friends to collaborate, support and have fun with like-minded couples in the area.

We aren't "Bible Thumpers" by any stretch and in all honesty aren't even comfortable praying in public, but we feel drawn to connect with other Christians just doing life in the Madison area.

We want to be part of a community of people who push us further than we ever thought we could go, while we encourage and build up other Christian Entrepreneurs.

We're looking for a group that will not only support each others business when possible and offer referrals but who will be there for each other to bounce ideas off of and to be able to be not just cheerleaders but also be able to be the kind of friends that we all need sometimes. We know that cheerleaders will only get us so far, but real friends will tell you things that you don't want to hear but need to.

And we don't want it to all be about business either. While we know that it's easy to make our businesses our main focus in life, that's not what life's about and if we're going to spend all this time working hard we need to find a way to play hard to and make it all worth it.

This group isn't meant to be a business referral network, if that's what you're looking for, please continue your search.

It's also not meant to be a "support" group in the typical sense. We are looking for individuals who are action takers which also means we're looking for people who take ownership and don't make excuses.

The reality is, that the more growth we have personally and the more success we have, the harder it is to care about small talk and the weather or which Kardashian married who this week... which also makes it harder to find "real" friendships.

If you find yourself in the same boat, let's "meet up".

East Troy Computer Club

East Troy, WI

East Troy Computer Club

The East Troy Computer Club is a community-driven group of all-age, all-skill level tinkerers interested in playing with technology. We meet every other week (or so) over a variety of topics related to technology.

This club is over seven years old. Smaller meetups tend to take on a roundtable discussion format while larger turnouts/topics are more formal in presentation. Feel free to jump in on the conversation, show & tell your latest project or challenge.

Each meetup will have a theme and loose agenda to guide the group. Some will be geared towards kids, or helping grandparents out with getting their email to work. Others, and likely most often, we'll be a group of adults talking about internet and hardware technologies. A little on the advanced side, but what better group of talented folks to serve as a backbone to a club such as this!

Things we're open to meeting over:

• Arts & Craft projects utilizing technology.
Robotics. Arduino, Raspberry Pi hardware projects.
Web development, design, scaling and performance.
Hands-on workshops. Such as 'intro to electronics' for children.
Summer 'boot camps'—Computer summer camp for kids.
Programming, Unit tests, Development tools and tips.
GNU/Linux, UNIX and general System Administration.
Productivity, Workflow and staying focus.
Collecting/Mining local (meta) data.
Practicing your presentation skills with us.
Sprints (work on projects together, right then and there).
Tutorials / HOWTO's - An instructor walks the group through a particular topic.
Helping Seniors stay connected.
Sharing tips, tricks and software.

As we grow, certain interests or projects may branch out of this club, such as working with the Public Library and other facilities. A certain card game was born out of the club, even. There is also a GitHub organization where we'll publish public projects and workshop resources; http://github.com/etcc/

We're a patient body of tinkerers invested in local community and set out to foster discovery and education of technology.

You don't have to be from East Troy to participate. Come on over!
