Non-Duality Crowd
The Non-Duality Crowd Community is a space for individuals committed to living in alignment with the truth of non-duality, where the illusion of separateness dissolves, and the deeper reality of oneness is revealed. Our purpose is to support each other in transcending the distractions and pressures of the material world, including mortgages, rent, and other societal obligations that keep us tethered to a sense of separation and struggle. We believe that true freedom lies in recognizing that we are not defined by the external demands of life. Through this community, we encourage each other to minimize attachment to the financial burdens and constraints that often keep us grounded in the world of materialism. In practical terms, we aim to help our members by reducing financial burdens through collective efforts. Through donations, fundraising, and other creative means, we seek to acquire property or land where members of the community can live more freely, minimizing or even eliminating the pressures of mortgages, rent, and bills. By sharing resources, we work toward creating a space where we can live in harmony with the principles of simplicity, non-duality, and interconnectedness, free from the weight of traditional financial obligations. We support each other in exploring alternatives to conventional living, offering emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance. Whether through shared wisdom or collective actions, we are working together to create a life where we live lightly and freely, grounded in the experience of oneness, while easing the financial burdens that often tie us to the material world. Together, we create a refuge where societal pressures fall away, and we can exist in the simplicity of being, love and joy.

Christian London Singles (35 to 45)

Hi everyone! I decided to create this group to share my passion for travelling, brunch, music, dining out, networking, museums and so much more, with like minded people who are Christians, Singles and of a similar age (35-45). There are so many events taking place, so much to do here in London...it's great to share all these experiences in good company, making new friends and having fun!

I will be organising events South of the river too (e.g. Greenwich, Lewisham etc) as they are fantastic locations for markets, food and museums. We live in such a beautiful and vibrant city!

Please feel free to drop me a message and contribute ideas!

Details:

- Events will usually take place on Fridays, Saturdays or Sunday afternoons

- Some events may be limited to 8 - 12 individuals to allow everyone to get to know each other or to facilitate bookings at restaurants

- Will aim for an even gender split to facilitate networking within singles, when possible

- Events pricing will be shared beforehand and may include a small admin charge to pay meetup fees

- Some events will be cheaper, some will be free, and some more expensive, depending on where they take place

- Payment may be needed up-front to avoid cancellations and this will be clearly stated on each occasion

- If an event is cancelled attendees will be notified as soon as reasonably possible

Please take note that there is no liability for the organizer. Participants are liable for their own actions and behaviours. However, offensive and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the meetup membership.

Be kind to yourself...let's all be kind to each other 😊

Greenwich Borough Friends Meetup Group - New and Improved

London, 17

Greenwich Borough Friends Meetup Group - New and Improved
**Greenwich Borough Friends Meetup Group** **Introduction** Greenwich Friends Meetup Group is a community based social group facilitated by the social networking portal MeetUp. Established in 2012 the group has members from within Greenwich and further afield. The primary aim of the group is to offer opportunities for members to attend social events in and around the Greenwich area. These events are held in public places and commercial establishments open to the public. The group does not have its own premises and does not hold events in private dwellings. The purpose of the Greenwich Friends Meetup Group is to be an open and inclusive social group and as such the group welcomes members regardless of background, beliefs, or circumstance and no restrictions are placed on membership. As a group we are proud to embrace a large and diverse membership.  Greenwich Friends Meetup Group is run by volunteers who are not professional event organisers. The group is not funded by any other organisation and all events are offered at no cost (Members are responsible for the purchase of their own tickets for any event such as theatre trips) and no charges are made for membership. To ensure that the group retains its open and approachable ethos a number of house rules and courtesies have been created to ensure that all members have a safe and enjoyable experience when attending one of our events. **General Conduct** 1.  Attending events. The group understands that members have busy lives and that things happen that mean it is not always possible for a member to attend an event for which they have signed up. All we ask is that people to change their RSVP on the Greenwich Friends Meetup page if they are unable to attend. This helps to host to manage the event more effectively and allows members on a waitlist to attend. 2.  Behaviour towards other members. As an open and diverse group it is to be expected that members will have differing opinions on a wide range of matters. While this is an interesting and valued aspect of the group, members must at all time respect the beliefs and values of all other members and refrain from making personal or abusive comments about other members. Any breaches of this behaviour could result in a member being barred from the group. To ensure that respect for members beliefs are upheld within certain events such as a topical debating forum a specific set of guidelines has been drawn up. See Debating Rules for details of these. 3.  Behaviour towards organisers/hosts. Greenwich Friends Meetup Group is run by volunteers who at all times aim to provide an enjoyable and sociable experience for members. The organisers are not responsible for the quality or content of events such as theatre productions or restaurant meals. These things are out of the group’s control. Hosts are always happy to receive constructive feedback from members on an event but negative and personal criticism of the group and it’s hosts is of very limited benefit and not in the nature of this MeetUp group. **Access Statement** To assist any members of the group with disabilities in accessing our events an access statement has been published to clarify the position of Greenwich Friends Meetup Group. This gives details with regard to access into events and support before, during and after these events. The statement covers issues concerning the responsibilities of the organisers and hosts with regard to members with disabilities and their corresponding responsibilities. For more detailed information please refer to the Access Statement on these pages. **Commercial Enterprise** The purpose of the Greenwich Friends Meetup Group is to provide opportunities to attend local social events in and around the Greenwich area. It is not a commercial organisation and is not funded or sponsored by any third party. Such external event are beyond the control of the group and the inclusion of advertisements could be construed as an endorsement of, or other form of support for, the event.  For this reason it has been agreed that this forum is not an appropriate platform for advertising commercial ventures of any kind regardless of their nature or purpose. Requests for such postings will be refused and any which are displayed will be removed. **Disclaimer** Greenwich Friends Meetup Group is an open and inclusive social group who welcomes all to become members. As the group meets in a wide variety of public locations the hosts and organisers cannot be responsible for the welfare, safety or access needs of any member who chooses to participate in any event organised by this group. While all reasonable steps will be taken to offer inclusive and accessible events ultimately not all events will be suitable for all members. Every member is responsible for their own health, safety, comfort, enjoyment and welfare and retains the responsibility for this throughout any event. Please also be aware that this disclaimer includes, incorporates and applies, where relevant, the whole of the Meetup.com term of service agreement which specifically states that members join Meetup and attend all Meetups at their own risk and cannot hold Meetup.com or its organisers and other members liable for damages.

Kent Lesbians & Queer Womxn

Canterbury, G5

Kent Lesbians & Queer Womxn
A million welcomes into our little corner of the Meetup community, a place to meet likeminded womxn and non-binary people in the ever so brilliant Kent! This group welcomes all womxn and non-binary people who like womxn and non-binary people! Whatever sexuality you identify as, from lesbian-bisexual-pansexual-queer-gay this group is inclusive. We are also age, ability, race, cultural identity and everything else you can identity as inclusive. We never tell you how to look or identify to attend an event or restrict you narrowly to just identifying as 'lesbian'. Occasionally we might run an event which is specifically targeted as part of our community and if we do that we will always tell you why (an example might be an event centred around black, asian and ethnic minority members, dating for a specific group or for vegans); this is never to exclude you but to connect an even more marginalised membership of our community or where members might share a very specific common interest. We are super friendly, always welcoming to our new and regular members, and no matter who you arrive with or arrive alone, you will most definitely leave with new connections and awesome people to hang out with at future events or meet with outside of the group. I know how daunting it can be to come to your first event. Will anyone talk to me? Will I connect with other members? Will the ground open and swallow me right up? I promise after the first few minutes of nerves, you'll have been greeted by one of our lovely hosts and be made to feel part of the furniture. If you are super nervous please alert your host in advance and I recommend to always arrive at the start when it's slightly quieter and you can get more individual attention from your host. With the sharp decline of bars for queer womxn and non-binary throughout the UK, Meetup really is the best way to network and make new connections. Events will be varied, including food, film, drinks, art (although right now during Covid-19 times were are much more restricted to meeting online). If you would like to organise an event get in touch! We are always looking for diverse hosts who are representative of our awesome community. PLEASE READ To enable us to build a great community please treat any events you sign up to as if you were meeting a friend; unless you have an emergency (sometimes life gets under your feet!), make sure to turn up on time and give plenty of notice if you are unable to attend. It is only courteous. Imagine if you arranged to meet a friend and you never showed up... that friendship wouldn't last long! Please note this is a group for adults (18+) PLEASE DONATE Meetup currently charges organisers $180/year to maintain these event pages on their platform. If you can, please donate just a few pounds to the group host via PayPal (PeachMeetup@gmail.com) when you join to help cover these fees. Those with access to a steady, living income or other wealth are encouraged to donate more. Please do not be deterred from attending if financial hardship prevents you from donating.
