Rounders Poker Network

Northridge, CA

Rounders Poker Network
**Play Social Home Games with New and Old Friends** ❤ We are back with a goal to reunite an isolated and fragmented post-pandemic poker community! Being social is making a comeback! Since 2008 we have hosted over **10,000** friendly social home games, more games than *any other poker Meetup*. Join Rounders Poker the most active and successful poker Meetup ever created. All our home games are private, each host sets the rules for their games and operate their games with complete autonomy. Our games are social and recreational and a great environment for women who make up 40% of our players where the public casinos have less than 10% participation by women. This is because we require that all members must be able to get along with others in a social environment. People have made lasting friendships here, some even found marriage here. During the pandemic our live home games were forced online during the almost two years of the stay-at-home quarantine. As life slowly returned to normal our online games continued to be popular and members asked that we continue with our online games which are now scheduled every night. All members are welcome to join our online games which we are combining with our live community to create one community and environment for everyone. Contact Scotty Wayne at scottywayne@live.com for details about playing in our online games, it's an easy way to get started playing. **Do You Host Games?** If you are hosting your own LIVE home games why work alone? Why create and pay for your own website or Meetup group when you can join our Rounders Network of Hosts, run your games your way, and share access to our outreach and social media presence and become part of the Rounders Poker brand, a trusted source of honest, safe, and friendly home games for over 16 years. Hosting in our network is free under these qualifying conditions you *must share your contacts by inviting them to join our group, t*hat's it!. Contact the Organizer if you have questions. To start playing or hosting games click the ***Request to join*** button to get started. Regards, *Scotty Wayne* Founder, Rounders Poker

The Santa Monica Tech Networking Meetup

Pacific Palisades, CA

The Santa Monica Tech Networking Meetup
We endeavor to provide networking and knowledge events that will be uniquely effective in initiating valuable professional connections, developing important relationships, increasing influence and leveraging social capital. It only takes one person to change our personal or professional lives. Undoubtedly, you will make new connections at our events likely to change yours... forever. This group is intended to provide value for local professionals interested in connecting with and supporting each other in our personal or professional endeavors. Members include, but are not limited to: entrepreneurs, small business owners, corporate executives, company representatives, tech professionals, creative arts professionals, angel and accredited investors, startup experts, revolutionary startup entrepreneurs looking to change the world - or their local community (lean, bootstrap, crowdfunding, or venture capital focused), and people seeking to expand their professional development and/or network. Please remember the words of author and speaker Simon Sinek: "We do not become great leaders, we do not fulfill our potential when we work to see ourselves grow or rise. It is when we devote ourselves to seeing those around us rise that we actually grow. And when the people we care about also work to see us grow, then they too will grow... The only true way for any of us to grow, to truly fulfill our full potential, is when we work to help others do the same." We believe the current business environment will continue a transition towards what thought leader **[Seth Godin](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ_D2BNqRzU)** refers to as the "connection economy" - where value is increasingly created through the connections we make and less so through industrialism. Every event scheduled will have its own unique opportunities. Every. Single. One. This group is part of one of the largest business alliances for Southern California entrepreneurs and business professionals - with over 70,000 combined members. Thank you for your consideration in sharing our events with your network, and/or bringing a friend or professional associate to attend with you. We'll look forward to seeing you sometime soon!  :-) Regards, Doug Means  **[http://linkedin.com/in/dougmeans](http://linkedin.com/in/dougmeans)** We provide additional resources and information through our LinkedIn and Facebook groups, located here:  **[https://www.linkedin.com/groups/95137](https://www.linkedin.com/groups/95137)**  **[https://www.facebook.com/groups/NetworkingROI](https://www.facebook.com/groups/NetworkingROI)** Our events continue the spirit of service to the small business community - and honor the memory - of Southern California business leader Rod Means (1938-2015). Thank you. "Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art." *\- Andy Warhol*

360 Network for Women - Conejo Valley

Westlake Village, CA

360 Network for Women - Conejo Valley
Welcome to the 360 Network for Women of Conejo Valley! We're a group for women, by women. This group will feature both social activities and women's professional networking gatherings through a well blended mix of meetup opportunities, to also include wine tasting events and even weekend staycations and getaways. **About Group/Organizer** **Notes About Our Gatherings/Expectations:** As the host, I have simply posted some gathering opportunities. I have a creator account on Meetup and a desire to connect with area women who like to socialize! I consider myself an "unofficial group organizer"...just one of the ladies, as we're all grown women who do not need more structure in our lives. If you care for more rules and structure, there are plenty of Meetup groups on this site for women's gatherings that may be a better fit. This is a loose arrangement with posted activities, and I do not plan to implement any structure other than positivity. We all have a lot of tasks and structure in our lives, including me, and are not managing experiences through organized introductions, nor coordinating outside communications. Please, arrive because you are able and willing to introduce yourself, start or join conversations, and/or just be "present"...enjoying moments of pleasant women in a great open environment. I'm not a competitive organizer. Share your other groups with attendees freely as desired, just don't bring other group drama with you if there is any, please. Get to know each other and make connections beyond our gatherings as desired, but not required. Set your own tone and enjoy!
