Sonoma County Women's Wine Club (SCWWC)

Santa Rosa, CA

Sonoma County Women's Wine Club (SCWWC)
This group is for local Sonoma County women who are interested in networking and socializing while learning about and drinking wine. Come join a fun group of women while we try new wines, cuisines and activities together! Must be 21 and older, all wine-tasting experience levels welcome. We meet at local wineries, small businesses, and restaurants monthly. Sorry gentlemen, this is for ladies only. Visit and join us on social media: Facebook: [https://www.facebook.com/groups/scwomenswineclub](https://www.facebook.com/groups/scwomenswineclub) Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/socowomens_wine_club/](https://www.instagram.com/socowomens_wine_club/) We have an attendance policy that members are expected to adhere to: If you sign up for a non-prepaid event, and No-Show to it (meaning you don't change your RSVP to 'Not Going', AND you don't show up to the event), it will count against you. If you No-Show to three events, you may not attend any events for 3 months. We will mark you as a No-Show after the event, because we understand that some people will be late for events and that is generally fine. We are trying to cut down on the confusion or missed opportunities, and help the ladies who can and will attend events, so we can keep doing these in the future. Events that are prepaid will be handled in the manner stated on their listing in regards to cancellations or attendance. I urge you to PLEASE put any events in your calendar that you plan to attend so you do not get marked as a No-Show at the time that you sign up for them. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please message me directly. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you all at a future event. Cheers! Real Estate Investor Community - Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa, CA

Real Estate Investor Community - Santa Rosa
Learn How To Invest In Real Estate With Little To None Of Your Own Money! The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity for people who are serious about learning how to become a real estate investor, as well as for experienced investors who would like to expand their opportunities for more deal flow and/or learn new strategies. We are a community of beginner, intermediate, and full-time real estate investors that meet several times a week to network and do deals. We leverage each other's capital, time, resources, and experience to get more deals done. We have people in our community that do over 100 deals a year all the way down to people that have never invested in real estate before. Members of our community invest in fix and flips, short mid- and long-term rentals, short sales, foreclosures, private notes, wholesaling, multi-family, commercial, tax liens/deeds, subject-to, lease options, contract for deed, and more. Come meet our community of investors and learn how we are doing deals locally and in multiple states throughout the USA. You will also have an opportunity to join our weekly masterminds where team members are doing actual deals.  Surrounding yourself with and being mentored by people that are doing deals is a great way to get started. If you want to learn how to invest in real estate and/or take your business to the next level this is the place to be!  You can join us as a guest at any Tuesday evening and/or Thursday late afternoon weekly event. Both events are online via Zoom. The Tuesday evening event is hosted from Phoenix, AZ by our larger, nationwide investor community.  Don’t let the Arizona location throw you – the community is doing deals all over the USA, including Hawaii. You can join us as a guest any Tuesday night via Zoom when a community member or investing team showcases a real estate investing deal that they have recently done.  They will share how they found the deal, how they funded the deal, their exit strategy, and ultimately their profits. We occasionally publish a Thursday online event, also via Zoom, that provides an introduction to the various components of living a life by design, centered on building wealth and cash flow through real estate investing. Most of the members of this investor community are also members of the larger community that meets on Tuesday. Many of the members, including the leaders, and mentors, are living and doing deals in the greater Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas.   We are looking to expand both investor communities to create more deal flow and expand our reach, thereby increasing opportunities. We also conduct periodic training on the fundamentals of Mindset, Money, Business Systems, and Real Estate Investing.  We title this specific training as a 3-Day or 5-Day Wealth Summit. The details of what you’ll learn can be found in the event description. The Tuesday and Thursday training/mastermind events will be published separately, with the details in each event description. To attend either one or both weekly events, please send your contact information, including a phone number and your preferred email address, to me via email or text so I can pre-register you. Your contact info will not be shared with anyone, and you can opt out anytime. With warm regards,   Gary Jestice, Co-CEO Avante Life Consultants LLC My Life by Design Team Member 916-919-2737 [BoomerREI@gmail.com](mailto:BoomerREI@gmail.com)   DISCLAIMER Our Real Estate Investor Community does not guarantee any level of money, success, or lifestyle from being a member of our community. All testimonials and presentations are unique to that specific member that shared their results. Your results will be different and will vary depending on several factors, including your starting point, effort, and resources.

Lance Kuehne Photography Workshops

Lance Kuehne Photography Workshops
Photograph inspiring locations while networking with fellow photographers and making new friends. Have fun while understanding your gear better as you learn skills and improve your photographic vision. You will take pictures for the rest of your life, why not make them better? For over 20 years, Lance has wandered the backroads of the North Bay Area, exploring nearly every road and open space between San Francisco and Mendocino. For over a decade, he has been sharing his knowledge of photography and places to photograph through his workshops. Check them out. Landscape photography fits well with social distancing, and precautions will be taken to avoid exposure to Covid19. **There are three types of Workshops** **Afternoon Outings:** These are in the North Bay and last around 6 hours. Start times depend on the season. We leave from Lance's studio in Petaluma, or you can join along the way. **3 Day (Weekend) Workshops:** Sometimes you want a few days of pure photography. These workshops take place in California. Driving time is between 2 and 6 hours. The routes are chosen so that we can photograph on the way. **5 Day (or longer) Photo Tours:** Sometimes you want to photograph in distant places. These tours test you, like boot camp, but in a fun way. If you are advanced, prepare to see special places. Beginners, won't be one at the end. These are classic road trips centered on photography. To learn even more, go to [https://lancekuehne.com/workshop-calendar.html](https://lancekuehne.com/workshop-calendar.html) where you can see the upcoming schedule up to six months in advance as well as more details about each workshop. Sonoma-Marin Brat Pack

Petaluma, CA

Sonoma-Marin Brat Pack
Welcome to the Sonoma-Marin Brat Pack! We are a fun, entertaining, and adventurous group of diverse friends who love to laugh and are looking to expand our social network the good ol’ fashioned way – getting off the couch and getting out there! We take suggestions for events and, if willing, even assign you as the host. Married? Single? New to North Bay or looking to explore this region? Lifelong resident? We accept all people. The majority of our members are born between 1970 – 1995, and prerequisites include being young at heart, a good sport, and being respectful of others. Bullying and verbal abuse will not be tolerated. Also required is a face-recognizable profile picture, so our Organizers can recognize you when you attend events. What kinds of events to expect with the Sonoma-Marin Brat Pack: we have a wide array of events from zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, camping, music festivals, bar crawls, trivia, dancing, night life, volunteering locally, exploring the rivers, mountains, beaches, and towns that make Sonoma and Marin Counties unique. We also have crossover events with other Meetup groups in the area. Events are a joint effort prescribed by your interests and participation. No show policy: keeping your rsvp current shows your appreciation and respect for the organizers as well as fellow group members. We reserve the right to remove members, and not showing up for an event, not letting your Organizer know you’re running late, not being prepared with payment method requested by Event Organizers especially at restaurants and bars are some examples of what may cause removal from the group. Also, please recognize that we are not professional event planners and participation in our events are at your sole discretion. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about us and we hope to see you at our next event!

"SONOMA COUNTY OUTDOORS"

Petaluma, CA

"SONOMA COUNTY OUTDOORS"

Sonoma County Outdoors is an adult group for Hiking, Walking, and Social Activities.

Want to hike or walk for fitness and fun?

Would regularly meeting with a committed group of like minded people help keep you accountable to exercise?

Just want to get out of the house and have some fun?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then take a look at Sonoma County Outdoors!

There are a lot of great hiking Meetup groups out there and some of us belong to multiple groups. This group is intended to supplement those groups for shorter weekday hikes, and longer local hikes that are a little closer to home in Sonoma County and surrounding areas.

What's it all about?

WEDNESDAY NIGHT WALK (4 miles after work): An 80 minute brisk walk in Downtown Petaluma to get a few miles in before the weekend hike. This urban walk is a little slower pace than our Tuesday Night Fitness Hike, but a good bit of exercise nonetheless. You'll feel it the next day. For a cardio workout, see our Tuesday Night Fitness Hike.

TUESDAY NIGHT FITNESS NIGHT HIKE (5 miles after work): A FAST 80 minute Fitness Hike in Downtown Petaluma to get a few miles in before the weekend hike. This is a cardio hike that is sure to get your blood moving. We move fast and generally don't wait for slower members in the hike. If you're having trouble keeping up with the pace of the Fitness Hike, please instead join us on the Wednesday Night Walk.

WEEKEND HIKES, 6-12 miles: Weekend hikes are usually within an hour drive of central Sonoma County. The hikes are anywhere from Easy/Moderate to Moderate to Moderately/Strenuous, and on rare occasions, Strenuous. We usually pack a light lunch and stop to eat about half way thru the hike. We might even stop in for a quick social gathering after the hike to wet our whistle, or to grab something a little more substantial to eat. We hike at a brisk pace, this is not a stroll or sightseeing adventure - it's a hike.

THE PACE, WEDNESDAY NIGHT WALKS: The Wednesday Night Walks are a brisk pace. We do 4 miles in the same time as we do 5 on the Tuesday Night Fitness Hike. We do about 2-1/2 mph (23-24 minute miles). Tjis is the place to start if you are new to the group.

THE PACE, TUESDAY NIGHT FITNESS: The Tuesday Night Hikes are a cardio workout. Not quite power walking, but we do go about 3-1/2 mph (16-18 minute miles). If you are new to the group, I strongly recommend you try the Wednesday Night Walk before attempting the Tuesday Night Fitness Hike.

THE PACE, WEEKEND HIKES: Weekend hikes are about the same brisk pace as the Wednesday Night Walks. We're not strolling by any means, and we are usually covering a lot of ground without a lot of stopping.

SOCIAL MEETUPS: We occasionally organize Social Events to get out of the house and enjoy ourselves. These might be a show, a meetup for dinner, wine tasting, a Crawl, etc... Bring your spouse, friends and significant others to these fun events. Note: Most of these are adult oriented events and are not appropriate for children, unless it specifically says so. If you have any doubt, please ask.

WHAT DOES IT COST? Nothing to you. Meetup charges a monthly fee for hosting this group. We pay that for you. If you'd like to contribute something to offset those costs, we take contributions in the form of Red Wine!

GROUP GUIDELINES: (To participate in hikes you must agree to the following)

1. Apply to join the group. you will be notified of events when you join and be able to see the location where events are being held.

2. When applying, please use a profile picture that shows your face. Our hike leaders pride themselves on not losing anyone and knowing who you are is important.

3. Events start on time. Please be on time. We won't wait for you, so please don't ask.

4. Introduce yourself and check-in with the event organizer when you arrive at the event.

5. Don't sign up for an event that you are not committed to attend. No-shows might be dropped from the group after 2 no-shows.

6. Be fun! Meanies and disruptors will be banned.

7. Be kind in your review and opinion of us. We do this for the fun and love of hiking, and want to share it with others.

DOGS: Well behaved dogs on-leash are allowed on Weeknight Hikes and Weeknight Walks, but only at the hike leaders discretion. If your dog is aggressive or disruptive, the hike leader might ask you to leave the hike. Please come back next week without the dog. Most dogs are welcome though.

Dogs are not allowed on Weekend Hikes. The trails are often narrow, and the hikes are very crowded. Plus, more than half the places we hike don't allow dogs on trails. Please don't ask to bring your dog on a weekend hike. They will not be allowed to participate.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS: Invite your friends and sign up today to receive your invitation to our next event!
