Meet other South Florida business women, freelancers, and solo-preneurs committed to SUCCESS + not letting the "recession" rain on their parade! WIN facilitates a variety of business events designed to help cultivate relationships while building our businesses through word of mouth referrals.

Some of our business training events have had keynote speakers such as a Brian Tracy trainer, an trademark + IP attorney, VP of Hooters, evening social mixers and much more!

Who should join? Professional women who mean -business- including small business owners, a sales executive, someone considering starting their own business, whether it be a primary business or side business, medium-large size company execs, CEOs, WAHM (work at home moms') and MORE...

How WIN came to be... Between 2002-2004, I quadrupled the market share of my 1st business, a carpet cleaning co. (soooo sexy ;) ) in one of the most competitive US markets, Atlanta, via face-to-face networking, strategic relationships + low-cost networking.

In early 07, I got  sick of being hit on by older men + found I wanted more  education, camaraderie + value from the organizations I was in + less "Schmoozing."

In March of 07, I founded Women Intelligently Networking (WIN) as I was frustrated  with wasting time at events+ wanted to use it "intelligently." Also, networking means the cultivation of productive relationships for employment or business. Who doesn't want THAT? 

WIN has hosted biweekly events + has an established record for high-caliber networking, speakers, tele-seminars, workshops + social events since then. We're passionate about providing a supportive community for small business owners, freelancers + professional women; let's be honest, it's nice to have a support network that's productive at the same time. 

I'm a Miami native + I am in South Florida every other week so WIN is expanding here... This is quite exciting and I hope you are, too!

Historically, our lunches w/ keynotes avg 30-40, our social events avg 100-150 + our workshops full of like-minded people who want more than just.... schmoozing. 

In the upcoming weeks, WIN'll be providing various optional membership offerings to add even more value, including free teleseminars, however, they're not yet available as we're working on our schedule. We use Meetup to keep our community informed about events so RSVPs are CRUCIAL.

WIN is NOT the appropriate group if... your main goal is just to recruit members for MLM companies or "build teams of people looking for extra income." If this is mentioned in your request to join, via communications to the group or during our events, your membership will be revoked. This is NOT to say that if you are in an MLM you can't join, just don't use this as a tool simply to recruit but build reciprocal relationships... This helps enhance the quality of the connections, relationships and events.

(Please let it be noted that this organization's name is federally trademarked. I share this because there have been people recently who have decided to "borrow" it so now, I am forced to share this disclaimer.... Ah, the times we live in! :) )

All cultures welcome, but SPECIFICALLY my NATIVE African Americans 6 wks – 99 years old No disrespect to any of my fellow brothers and sisters of ALL shades. Yea, you’re our brothers and sisters too. But THIS group is about the love that comes from being born and raised BLACK in THESE United States. And we want to focus on our heritage of family and fun. So, let’s be clear. This is a social group about African American ADULT and FAMILY FUN, but it’s open to ANYONE and EVERYONE who can respect our goal. Sure, we’re going to go to clubs, do BBQ’s, play spades, drink Boones Farm and reminisce about the good Ole days when L.L. Cool J Rocked the Bells…who knows, maybe even get to singing Flashlight by Parliament at a 70’s party or kick it with Kem, Joe, or maybe even Gucci Mane or Rick Ross at a Miami Club. But then we may turn around and do a Black tie affair, or a wine tasting at a local establishment or help Mama Peaches with some work on her house. That’s just it! It’s our culture and we are here to experience it together. If you’re single, you’ll meet someone. If you’re married, you’ll go home with plenty of memories. We’ll laugh together and we’ll cry together, I’m sure. All attempts will be made to keep outings cheap and hopefully our economies of scale can get us a few perks here and there. Also, this is not about the organizer. It is my hope that this group takes on a POSITIVE life of its own. OK, so what are the qualifications for being apart of this group again? 1. Respect our goal of bringing Native African American’s together in positive social experiences. 2. Be respectful to ALL members at ALL times. (Drama will be met with expulsion. So, if you can’t hold your tongue or your liquor, try another group.) 3. No selling. No Marketing. No Pyramid Schemes. 4. Share your religion, but don’t FORCE your religion. 5. Share your politics, but don’t FORCE your views. 6. YOU MUST BE A MATURE ADULT TO JOIN. 7. You have to tell any and ALL African Americans you know to JOIN! So, are you ready for some FUN??? JOIN UP!
