Networking groups near Duluth, GA

We are a mix of innovators, technologists, entrepreneurs, and professionals, from Alpharetta, Georgia and the surrounding area, who are taking advantage of after-work happy hours in a relaxed but professional environment.

We haven't hosted structured events yet -- but we might in the future -- so far our events are simply an opportunity to mingle, exchange business cards, get to know each other, and catch up.  Members should try to greet and exchange business cards with everyone at the meetup. 

We have "come as you are" event, no need to dress up in your best attire...come as you are from your office or home office.  Be friendly and pay it forward. 

Generally, group-wide emails are restricted to only announcing our events.  If you're a local member, please feel free to post your resume or any other notice on the message board.

Women Veteran Social Justice has been an online and virtual community for the past 13 years. We have opportunities to meet up for community events, local gatherings and create our own events to mix things up a bit. We are known for supporting one another through our information resources and peer group interactions. We enjoy reconnecting, getting out into the community, staying informed about service programs, all while cheering one another on for our milestones and successes.

Georgia is the 5th largest populated state with women veteran who served in the US Armed Services (more than 90K). Where y'all at? Let’s meet and network, create new memories, learn about our community, network for better opportunities, gain insights into products, services and benefits we are entitled to, while creating a community of support. Like you, we are all people who served. We can't wait to meet you!

We are expanding and would love to host a meetup in your local area, help you grow your community and network. Current areas are where meetings are happening are Cobb, Gwinnett, Dekalb, Fulton, Henry etc. Looking to expand to Macon, Savannah, Augusta, Albany, and North Georgia.

WVSJ Network Military Family & Communty Volunteers. This volunteer group is committed to to assist Veterans, military, military spouses and children programs of WVSJ Network and our community partners. currently serving servicemen and women, ROTC, spouses and through volunteer service. This is a project group supported by Women Veteran Social Justice Network and a collaborative effort of their work for collective impact in our greater military family community.

SNAP: Social Network of Artists & Photographers is : Portrait oriented photography group.  We host high quality photo shoots in studio, outside, and more. Professional level lighting, great models, make up artist, and more with a laid back low key style.

Photography meetups in a professional studio environment. Bringing together amazing Atlanta photographers, artists, models, make up artists, wardrobe specialists and more. Come to one of our shoots and leave with portfolio worthy photographs.

  Why should you come to SNAP Events?:

We provide a very well thought out setup for lighting, as this is the most important thing in any photograph. We use our equipment and facilities to deliver lighting that will be difficult to replicate at home in both setup and numbers. We provide a great value by splitting the costs of models, facilities and equipment up to give you an amazing experience at a fraction of the cost.

We have a very reasonable photographer to model ratio. It's important that you are able to work with the talent we bring in, so we match talented models together and make sure you have a chance to work with the talent.

Workshops/Classes

SNAP has been hosting Classes and Workshops for many years now, before we even took this name. We have hosted over 40+ classes itself. We have the experience to back up the education, and the ability to give you the maximum value for your money.

If needs be we also provide one on one education ranging from learning how to use your camera all the way to studio shooting. All levels are covered.

We've done over 225 photography events already, and plan on doing so much more.

We currently have our main studio in Alpharetta, but also use other facilities around town for photo events.
