We have become *dependent* on imperfect fragile life-supporting technologies and infrastructures which are highly interdependent such that the loss of one causes loss of others (the Domino effect). Thus, there is a need to return to a respectful knowledge of the land and become self-reliant. In the few moments you have just before disaster strikes, your preparedness level may define the *rest of your life*. Take your chances or take control. After all, ***it wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.*** **What will our Self-reliant knowledge and skills *prepare us* for?** Short answer: Life! Long answer: Anything that could happen to disrupt our fun or affect the normal routine in our daily life: Job loss, illness, house fire, auto accident, natural disasters, economic collapse, World War III, end of the world *as we know it*, anything, everything! We are a group of like-minded every day normal people and families networking and striving to learn and share knowledge and resources to become more self-reliant.
