About: Join our College Success Collaborative, a virtual workshop and discussion group designed to help you overcome common challenges during your college journey. We're here to provide support, insights, and strategies to help you thrive academically and personally. How It Works: In this interactive online setting, we'll discuss various aspects of college life, from time management and stress reduction to study techniques and building a strong support network. Our sessions will feature engaging activities, relatable stories, and expert advice. What to Expect: Expect collaborative discussions, idea sharing, and practical tips to address your concerns. Every session will be a safe space for open dialogue and mutual learning, fostering personal growth and college success. What to Bring: Bring an open mind, your experiences, and a willingness to engage with fellow students. Having a notebook or device for jotting down insights and action plans can also be helpful. How to Participate: Participating is easy! Just sign up for our sessions, connect with fellow students virtually, and actively contribute to the discussions. You'll leave each session with newfound strategies and a stronger sense of how to conquer challenges and excel in your college journey. **Mission** *R-Ladies* is a worldwide organization whose mission is to promote gender diversity in the open-source R community. **Who we are/What we do**: *R-Ladies East Lansing* is a local chapter of R-Ladies Global. We meet to discuss, learn, teach, present, work on all things R! Our priority is to provide a safe community space for anyone identifying as a minority gender who is interested in and/or working with R. The group exists to promote gender diversity in the R community worldwide. We are pro-actively inclusive of queer, trans, and all minority identities, with additional sensitivity to intersectional identities. \ **Who could join?** *R-Ladies East Lansing* welcomes members of all R proficiency levels, whether you are a new or aspiring R user, or an experienced R programmer interested in mentoring, networking & expert upskilling. Our non-profit, civil society community is designed to develop our members' R skills & knowledge through social, collaborative learning & sharing. Supporting minority identity access to STEM skills & careers, the Free Software Movement, and contributing to the global R community! Anyone and everyone interested in R/Data Science should join our group and participate/contribute in any way you can, be they learners, teachers, developers or innovators! We encourage women and minority genders to present/lead most sessions, conversations *but* we have no restrictions whatsoever when it comes to membership, participation, and discussions.
