(WAS) Google Developer Group Hudson Valley - Reboots 03/21
New Paltz, NY
This is the Meetup page for the Google Developer Group (Hudson Valley) Founded in Apr 2014.
The Meetup is currently being rebooted to be more tech-agnostic and support online learning and skilling for the new ecosystem we live in.
If you are interested in GDG Events please do consider joining my sister meetup community at
https://meetup.com/gdgnyc which will align more to the events run by the GDG community.
This meetup will focus on active learning and go back to our origins of events like Android Study Jams, Hour Of Code, and more -- with a focus on learning together to skill up for new job markets and technologies.
==========
The rebrand and reboot is in progress.
Your patience is appreciated!!
I expect to relaunch the meetup and site/schedule sometime in March 2021

============
We are software developers, designers, educators and students with an interest in learning about emergent technologies in areas including (but not limited to) mobile, web, wearables, cloud computing, education technology, data sciences and smart homes.
Our events will be a mixture of Tech talks (lecture-style) that explore concepts and best practices, and GDG Garage events (hack sessions) that involved coding and collaboration.
Our talks may feature Google-developed solutions (e.g., Chrome, Android, AngularJS, Google Glass, Android Wear, Polymer, Google Compute Engine ..) but will also extend to competitive technologies, products and platforms.
Our primary goal is to create networking, collaboration and entrepreneurial connections for technology enthusiasts in the Hudson Valley.
