Feet & Paws Pack Walk Eugene
Looking to get out, active, and social with your dog? Perfect! You're in the right spot. Hi, I'm Tracy, a certified dog trainer and canine and human fitness trainer. I just relocated to Eugene and after hosting 70+ pack walks in Los Angeles, I'm excited to offer these monthly events for people and their dogs in/around Eugene. In addition to these pack walks, I offer dog & puppy training classes, private dog & puppy training, and group and private canine fitness training. **Find out more about my services at feetandpaws.com** Hope to see you and your dog at the next Feet & Paws' Pack Walk! All dogs welcome. One dog allowed per handler. No dog required to attend. **Requirements:** * Dogs must be at least 6 months old. * Dog's up-to-date vaccine records (DHPP, Bordatella, and Rabies) shared at least 24 hours before they attend their first pack walk. * Signed liability waiver must be submitted at least 24 hours before you and/or your dog attend your first pack walk. * Dogs must be on a 6-8 foot standard leash. Retractable leashes and slip collars are not allowed. * Always bring water for you AND your dog (don't forget a bowl). * One dog per handler. **Have a DINOS (Dog In Need of Space)?** Our pack follows the Yellow Dog Project. I will have yellow ribbons available for anyone who wants one! Find out more at https://dogsinneedofspace.com/ **RSVP/Cancellation Policy:** If you cannot make a hike and have already RSVPd as going, please cancel as early as possible. It works best if you change your RSVP on the specific MeetUp event rather than sending an e-mail or text. That being said, I understand that unforeseen circumstances can come up at the last minute, so each member is permitted 3 no shows. Once you have more than 3 no shows, you will be removed from the pack. This is out of consideration to your fellow walkers as well as myself.

Open Men's Group, Willamette Valley

Eugene, OR

Open Men's Group, Willamette Valley
We are a group of men who sit in circle in the mid-Willamette Valley (Corvallis and Eugene) area to share a deeper connection to truth, accountability and integrity. What does it mean to draw clean boundaries and own my projections? How do I show up in the world and what blocks me from achieving my dream? How can I become a better partner, son, father, brother or friend? All men are welcome to this circle. Participation is completely voluntary and confidential. This meetup is for pubic education and outreach for the Willamette Valley Community of the Mankind Project.  The ManKind Project (www.mkpusa.org) is a global network of over 1,000 peer-facilitated men's groups serving close to 10,000 men each week. In an MKP men's group, men mentor men through the passages of their lives. The ManKind Project empowers men to missions of service, supporting men to make a difference in the lives of others - men, women, and children around the world. We help men through any transition, men at all levels of success, men facing almost any challenge. Our flagship training, described by many as the most powerful men's training available, is the New Warrior Training Adventure.  The ManKind Project (MKP) is not affiliated with any religious practice or political party. We strive to be increasingly inclusive and affirming of cultural differences, especially with respect to color, class, sexual orientation, faith, age, ability, ethnicity, and nationality. (For details on MKP in the Pacific Northwest, see www.mkp.org).

Eugene Effective Altruism and Rationality Practice
We are building a community for all those interested in doing good better: more effectively and at scale. We consider scale, neglectedness, and tractability to look for underrated opportunities to do good in our careers and giving. We support and care for one another to plan for the long term: building, not burnout. We meet every second Wednesday. Current venue is Beergarden. We meet to network with aspiring effective altruists and students of rationality, find out more about effective altruism, current global trends, and learn more about the world's most pressing problems and how you can use your career to solve them! We currently give a lot of focus to Artificial Intelligence Safety. Due to the potential threat of artificial intelligence to our existence in the next few decades, we want to careful thought to how we might do something about this issue. We want to emphasize that women and non-binary people, people of color, and people of all ages, religions, belief systems, and political perspectives are welcome at our meetings to share in our common interest in effective altruism. **COMMUNITY SAFETY INFORMATION** **It is a priority to make our group a place that feels safe and welcoming for everyone** who is interested in contributing to or learning from the EA movement, and in particular, to be a place that is safe and welcoming for members of groups that are currently underrepresented in our community.
