Network After Work - Philadelphia Networking Events

Network After Work is a professional community consisting of Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Executives and thought leaders who understand the importance of building meaningful connections. Built on the idea that professionals in every industry across the world all share a common goal, to develop strong relationships that help grow their businesses and careers. Through meeting in-person and virtually, Network After Work provides a platform that makes connecting easy. Hosting live events in 87 US locations with plans to add additional US cities and international locations, growing your business and relationships has never been easier.

For 10 years, we have been at the forefront of face-to-face business connections. As social media and virtual relationships have been all the rage over the past decade, we have found that live interactions are still the best way to build solid connections. Shaking hands and looking someone in the eye is an invaluable skill and builds the strongest foundation for long lasting connection.

Though meeting in-person is our foundation, meeting virtually is a great accompaniment to our signature live events. With our goal to make your business connections long lasting and sustainable, our mission is to do everything for you, all you need is the desire to seize new opportunities and the willingness to help others.

Buxmont Women's 50+ Suburban Social Network

Newtown, PA

Buxmont Women's 50+ Suburban Social Network
**Friends - we welcome interest in our group, but close to new membership in March. *WE ONLY ACCEPT NEW MEMBERS UNTIL MARCH, OR WHEN WE HAVE THE MAX NUMBER OF GROUP MEMBERS (75).*** **Greetings!**  We are a women only 50+ social group with members from all over the metro Philadelphia area, but headquartered in Bucks County. That's where the bulk of our social outings take place, although we occasionally travel around. Our purpose is to provide social opportunities and activities to women 50+. We are a private group, so you must be a member to see other group members and our outings. Our members pay annual dues to the maintain membership in the group, as Meetup charges us fees to be here, as well as other activities we sponsor. We do a lot of Happy Hours (many don't partake of the alcohol just the nibbles), occasional coffee klatches on weekends, local events at Peddler's Village, lunch at local restaurants, dinners out, theater, beach days and more. We respect our members decisions about participating as they prefer, however, as we are a ***social*** group we do have policies in effect such as each member is expected to attend at least ***one event every 2 months*** to remain a member in good standing. If this isn't what your expectations for socializing are, then we are probably not the right group for you. Also, if you sign up - you show up! So please, make sure only to sign up for events you can actually attend. We do remove non-participating members to make room for those who do come out, as we generally have several applications from folks waiting to join at any given time. So, thanks for stopping by and happy journeys along the Meetup trails!

Christian Small Business Owners -- Education + Networking

Philadelphia, PA

Christian Small Business Owners -- Education + Networking
Our events are now completely online. We are a group of Christian small business owners looking to have breakthroughs in the following: ``` 1. Continuing education: Actionable insights for running a profitable small business in accordance with the will of God 2. Contacts: You will meet other Christian Small Business Owners, so that you can establish collaborations and friendships 3. The joy of being on a faith-based business journey together with other Christian Small Business Owners ``` Are you a follower of Jesus Christ and a solopreneur or small business owner? Then please join our group ASAP! See you soon, and be blessed! Norbert Bollow, Organizer P. S. for the benefit of those who like to have things spelled out in detail, here are some more specifics: Goals of the group: Learning from each other in informal discussion and from prepared presentations. Business networking / creating contacts, collaborations and friendships. Having a good time together. We are committed to creating a healthy community of support for all our members for their wellbeing and business. We will learn from experience what specific kinds of events to do in order to pursue these goals, but there will probably always be some educational content, some related discussion, and some social and business networking aspects. All events of the group are provided free of charge. There are no costs or fees charged to members. We all benefit most from our interactions when events are well-attended, without the hassle of fees getting in the way. Who should join the group: **Christian Small Business Owners, widely interpreted.** Besides well-established businesses, it’s also quite ok if your business is only a side hustle or even still a dream transitioning to the planning phase. All who consider themselves Christians, or even just curious about the Christian faith, are welcome. While we discuss the application of what the Bible says to today’s business realities, differences of theology and faith practices between different faith traditions are not what we’re concerned with in this group. The group and all events are intended to be a friendly and totally discrimination-free environment. If someone says something that you consider to be incompatible with the Christian faith, please treat them as an honored guest. The organizer of this group is himself a Christian solopreneur, self-employed as a business coach. The group is not affiliated with any religious or business organization beyond this group and a couple of similar groups run by the same organizer, each with a different geographical focus; online events can be shared across groups in order to bring a good number of like-minded people together.
