This group will function to connect people interested in permaculture-related activities and initiatives in Skagit County. Anyone from surrounding counties is welcome to join, as the objective is to build a network of folks interested self-sufficiency and sustainability. Overall, we will collaborate for the purpose of learning and practicing the three ethics of permaculture in the Skagit Valley: 1\. Care of the Earth 2\. Care of People 3\. Return of surplus to Earth and people \(AKA “Fair Share”\)

Starting June 2019, we will be having a monthly She Leads Me Connections Breakfast for our tribe. Our events in Bellingham have all SOLD OUT and been a HUGE HIT!

The purpose of the Stanwood Entrepreneurs, Investors, and Startups group is to connect locally with like minded people in the hopes of forming new friendships, business connections, and partnerships. You should join the group if you live in the Camano / Stanwood or the local surrounding communities and have an active interest in any of the following topics: * startups * small business * entrepreneurship * angel investing * vc investing * crypto currencies * side hustles * marketing * sales Some profiles that would be a good fit: \- a person with a 9\-5 job who is starting a business on the side \- startup / tech worker \- business founder \- small business owner / manager \- full time or hobbyist investor in stocks\, startups\, crypto\, etc\. Initially our event will be social focused just allowing people to meet and network at a local venue. In the future we may have a speaker kick off these events.

Although you realize the importance of financial planning, you are beginning to realize that finances are only one part of your retirement. \*\*\* In response to a question from a group member, the group host is not a financial planner and the host is not selling any financial products or services. The group host's intention is to start a group where we can discuss "non-financial" preparations for our retirement: * Our social "wealth", including our family, friendships and community support network, now and in retirement. * Our emotional/psychological resources, now and in retirement. * Our activities and goals outside of work, now and in retirement.
