We are a mixed social walking group based in South Manchester. We are an established group with a large membership and we have additionally now become a Meetup group. We offer walks every Sunday meeting either at Brooklands Metrolink Station car park M33 3SQ in Sale for car share or at the start of the walk. We also have midweek walks, Wednesday evening walks in summer, weekends away and a variety of social events. New faces are always welcome. You may join us for up to 3 events before membership is required. You can however join SWAG at any time, without attending any walks or events first. Membership costs just £8 per year. Attendance at all events is at the individual's own risk. The group will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any group event or in connection with travel to such an event. When transport is shared, please remember to offer the driver a contribution towards petrol expenses. You should ensure that you are properly equipped for walks: walking boots, waterproofs, rucksack, extra clothing, packed lunch and drinks are all essential. Participation on walks is at the discretion of the walk leader. Please check with the walk leader before bringing a dog. Welcome to Tarporley Just Good Friends. We are here to get together, have fun and meet new friends.. This is not a singles or dating group.   The aim is for people to take part in various social activities in a safe and friendly atmosphere. This may include dining and drinks, theatre, cinema, afternoon tea, coffee, dancing, live music, outdoors, walking, camping, glamping, kayaking, sailing, outdoor swimming, dog walking, spa days and book club. Hi my name is Leah, I'm Australian and have been living in the UK for 20 years. Like all Aussies I love to travel. Travelling in a group is always a lot more fun than on your own and you make lifelong friends along the way. I have my own independent travel agency and lead regular trips to far-flung places around the globe. Food is another passion and discovering new cuisines and local dishes brings joy to my heart. If you have a passion to travel with other like-minded people feel free to join any of my trips. If you have a large group of friends that also want to travel I can help with that too and maybe even bag you a free place on the trip. The trip dates and locations will be set, but you can be flexible on the rest. Book your own flights or I can book for you and ATOL protect the trip, you can extend your trip and you don't have to get involved with all the planned activities if you don't want to.
