Winchester Social Walks

Winchester, F2

Winchester Social Walks
Welcome to **Winchester Social Walks**, a small friendly walking group with a relaxed approach to walking. We aim to offer members a chance to meet, walk and talk with others in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, giving everyone the opportunity to soak in the views, enjoy nature, the wildlife, and take plenty of pictures. If you are alone, don't worry! Many walkers turn up by themselves and it's a great way to meet new people and make new friends. The walks will mostly be on a Saturday - with some shorter after work walks in the summer - at a leisurely pace suitable for those who are comfortable and physically fit to complete walks from approx. 4 to 12 miles (6.5 -19 km). Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join, including dogs and well-behaved dog owners, **but please check before bringing your dog, in case some walks might not be suitable.** This is a non-smoking group. **All members must provide a recognisable picture of your face, without long distance pictures.** This is so that we can look out for you and welcome you at any events you attend, otherwise your request to joining may be declined. Please note (as with most groups) there will be a modest **charge of £2 per person** **per walk** to cover the subscription costs of the site and other expenses associated with running the group. There may also be additional charges depending upon the activity. **T&Cs:** By joining *Winchester Social Walks Meetup Group* and participate in events, you confirm to have read and accepted the following terms: 1. *Winchester Social Walks Meetup Group* does not provide liability insurance for the protection of individuals who may participate in any of the events planned by the Organizer or Assistant Organizers. Gnostic Cultural Association S.A.W (Community Associates)

Southampton, F2

Gnostic Cultural Association S.A.W (Community Associates)

Its about meeting other locals to compare and discuss the underlying similarities and truths in all spiritual teachings.

Sharing and practising spiritual/transformational techniques and experiences (e.g Meditation, Mantrams, pranayamas, Out of Body Experiences, Tarot and Kabbalah, etc...) . Talking about ways to incorporate spirituality into everyday life.

Learning to actively investigate our psychology to discover what is real within us, and change negative life patterns of behaviour, by changing ourselves from within.

Creating a community spirit, where people respect the spiritual life within themselves and others and the spiritual aspects of life within Mother Nature and the Cosmos. This includes gnostic eco-psychology and working on the land and an anthropological study of the Arts and beliefs of Ancient cultures. Culture plays a huge part in expressing gnosis, so that's why I have (using many cultural references) loaded all sorts of goodies to browse over under the "Pages" and "more/files" tabs, to help you "feel it" and reflect upon it, so you get the gist of it!

These activities are open to people of all faiths and cultures! If you live near Edinburgh and want to meet our "sister group" up in scotland please contact Nomita Sanchdev, one of the other organisers on this site, We are very pleased to announce that we have finally been registered as a CIC (community Interest Company - a Non profit organisation) that provides various spiritual development activities within their local community as a whole. This status includes our sister groups in Birmingham, Bristol, London and Edinburgh as well. Our Companies House registration is 7628844. Find us on facebook under "Gnosis UK".
