Welcome to MK Outdoor Activities, Hiking and Scrambling group. We are all about getting people together, socialising to enjoy the great outdoors, walking, hiking and scrambling, with the purpose of having fun. Some events will be physically challenging and not suitable for everyone. Please check with event host in case of any questions.

Including but not limited to Dining out, Quad biking, Cinema, Bowling, Country walks, Go-Karting, Kayaking, Comedy clubs, Clay pigeon shooting, Picnics with outdoor games, indoor Skydiving. All suggestions welcome!

The plan is to organise all kinds of activities such as social and sports. So, if you want to meet new friends and you enjoy activities such as socialising at a pub, visiting a nearby city or town, going for a run, then you are welcome to join. Planned activities will be mainly for 20s & 30s, however, everyone is welcome.

Come and meet other like minded people who are looking to make new friends and socialise in and around Northampton and county. Are you new to the area and looking to make new friends to meet for social drinks, dinners, outdoors adventures and sports? Have your existing friends moved away or are tied up with family and work? **Walking in and around Northamptonshire** Welcome! We are a group of working age people from in and around Northamptonshire who enjoy walking and socialising together. Our walks take place on Sundays, around two weekends a month. New members are warmly welcomed, so if you’re new to the area, looking to extend your social circle or would like someone else to take the map-reading strain, please come along and give us a go!    **Our walking community** Our walks are free and led by an experienced, volunteer walk leader. Typically, we’ll walk 8 – 10 miles each walk, although we do offer shorter walks on a regular basis. We usually start walking at 10.30am in the morning, finishing around 3pm.    Our routes take us on field paths linking the beautiful villages and waterways of Northamptonshire, stopping for a welcome rest and a drink in a local pub along the way whenever the route allows.    In the summer we often venture further afield such as the Cotswolds, the Chilterns and the Peak District and also plan local evening walks. We will provide tea, coffee refreshments **• What we do** We gather on one Monday of each month Bringing vulnerable members of the community to farms is a way to tackle loneliness and social isolation and help people with their mental health, whilst sharing the benefits of the natural environment for the local community. The meetup taps into the growing trend of growing your own and will look at other issues of sustainability, such as reducing waste and providing an opportunity to buy zero waste products. There will be experienced volunteers on hand who will be on hand to teach essential skills to people to be able to reduce waste and develop ideas. It is a great way of connecting with friends and making new ones, it's filled with like-minded people all sharing wisdom, knowledge, love and laughter of nature, the great outdoors, growing - all through a very informal evening and shared table. This is a walking group based in Wellingborough where I plan to organise walks and perhaps other activities in and around the area. The group is not affiliated with any other groups or organisations. There are no age restrictions - everyone is welcome! Of course, you must be physically fit if you join one of the walks. The approximate distance will be given when a walk is advertised. You are responsible for your own safety and you are strongly advised to wear appropriate footwear/clothing and to carry water and snacks. There is no commitment as to how many activities you attend. However, if you indicate that you will attend an event but are unable to do so, please update your RSVP in good time. Looking to make new friends in the LGBT community? Are you a couple looking to expand your friendship circle? Do you just want to meet new people? This is an all inclusive group for members of the LGBT community in Northamptonshire. Activities will include evenings in the pub, cinema trips, nights out and LGBT events, and anything else the group wants to do! Hope to see you all soon! Group Rules: 1. This is a Meetup group for parents / familiy groups who are LGBT+ and have children aged between 0 - 16. As a lesbian solo mother, I would love the opportunity to meet and socialise with other parents who are LGBT+. Activities will vary but will include walks, picnics, coffee meets, play outings, etc and can always be guided by the needs of families interested in attending events.

Phoenix is a social group open to all that live in Northamptonshire & the surrounding areas, our events cover all of Northamptonshire from Towcester to Kettering. We try to put on a variety of events, some examples are Pub quiz's, walks, meals , theatre visits etc. We are always open to new suggestions. The aim of the group is to have fun and enjoy good company. Once accepted into the group, the expectation is that all members regularly attend events, we want the group to be active There is a yearly membership fee of £6 which starts Sept to Aug. Northants IVC is a well-established not-for-profit social and activities club for professional & like-minded people living or working in Northamptonshire, UK.

We currently have around 100 members aged mid-twenties to mid-sixties, but there are no age limits, everyone is welcome.

Northants IVC full members arrange several events every month throughout Northamptonshire and occasionally further afield. There's a wide range to choose from: Pub Meetups, Meals Out, Live Music, Theatre, Cinema, Curry Nights, Country Walks, Cycling, Games & much more. Of course, if there's something particular you'd like to do, become a full member and host an event yourself!

Milton Keynes Sociable Walkers Mark and Nigel would like to welcome you to the Milton Keynes Sociable Walkers Meetup group. We are a friendly group of walkers of all ages and from all walks of life. We enjoy walking between 5 to 7 miles every Saturday morning, whatever the weather! Meet like-minded individuals, make new friends, and enjoy the great outdoors together. Walking is great for your overall health and well-being. So come and join us for some fresh air, exercise, and good company, it’s a great way to start your day, walking at least 10,000 steps! We walk mostly in the areas of Milton Keynes and the near surrounding counties, enjoying the beautiful countryside, scenery, wildlife and green spaces, as well as some urban areas and local historical sites. Please note: • These are not gentle walks; our walking pace is 3 miles an hour. • Apologies, but dogs are not permitted on our walks. FuncMK is a meetup for all Functional Programming enthusiasts in and around Milton Keynes.

Regardless of whether you are just curious about Functional Programming, playing around with an FP language for fun or actively using it in your day job, this group is for you.

We plan on having tech talks at all our meetups with the goal of sharing insights and experiences around FP in the hopes that we can help each other learn and grow as better developers.

All you need is to bring yourself. Laptops are welcome too but not essential.
