Cambridge Qigong for Health

Cambridge, C3

Cambridge Qigong for Health
Qigong improves mind-body relaxation with the main aim of increasing quality of life alongside longevity. Whether you or someone you know has a chronic condition or are a fitness buff, qigong suits a wide spectrum. Interested or curious about qigong “chee kong”? It is a traditional Chinese exercise for health. Qigong styles offer differing ways for you to improve your physical wellbeing through meditative movement with active, light traditional Chinese movements. As qigong has been a lynchpin of Chinese health practices for centuries, there are many different styles and systems. One style is the Kunlun Dayan Wild Goose Qigong which was developed over 1800 years ago to improve health and longevity. Movements are used to stimulate acupuncture channels and points to improve health, increase relaxation, and reduce stress. Traditional martial artists/monks practiced qigong secrets to help maintain their health and to support their other more vigorous activities. Cambridge Qigong for Health is for adults aged 18 and over who are interested in qigong for improving health. Some events may require annual membership and/or fees. The group is set up as a private group to minimise privacy concerns of its members. It is intended to be used as a tool for us to arrange activities, collaborate with others and to increase awareness of qigong. Communications and interactions within the private group are respectful, considerate and non-confrontational. Join us to explore your curiosity with Qigong. For more information, please contact me. I'm a 30th generation Sifu of the Kunlun Dayan Qigong skill with direct lineage dating back over 1800 years. I have over 10 years experience with Tse Qigong Centre skills and have been training in various martial arts since 1998. Events are held in multiple Cambs locations and/or online. Regular weekly classes remained constant each week throughout Covid-19 lockdown - adapting to online, outdoors and indoors according to government and professional guidance.
