This groups is to bring hiking enthusiasts together for glorious days in the beautiful British countryside, usually within easy reach of London. Like a lot of people who live in London, we are bunch of international people and would like to welcome any hiking enthusiast from any national, cultural, ethnic, religious, sexual orientation background to our group. We have plenty of experience in guiding walks in the countryside. In addition to common routes, which are available online, we also design our own routes at times. Everybody is welcome but we have one important criteria to set our group apart from others... and that is **to be able to keep an average (18-20 minutes per mile) to brisk (16-17 minutes per mile) pace\* throughout the walk**. Please see below for guidance on pace. There are groups for fast walkers and groups for slow to average walkers. We are neither. This is a group for average to brisk walking people. In addition to this criteria, we expect the usual civil behavior any social group expects such as being kind, considerate, accountable, ability to take responsibility for yourself. This is mainly a hiking group but we are planning to organise other type of activities at times like cycling, kayaking, paddle boarding, rock climbing, camping, cross country skiing.
