Black Country Young Walkers (Ramblers Charity Group)

Dudley, 43

Black Country Young Walkers (Ramblers Charity Group)

This is a great opportunity to get involved in this popular Ramblers group.

The Ramblers is a charity whose goal is to protect the ability of people to enjoy the sense of freedom and benefits that come from being outdoors on foot.

This group is aimed at getting people in their 20's, 30's and 40s who live in Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Sandwell and the surrounding area, out walking in their local Countryside and further afield. We organise day walks, evening walks and weekends away as well as socials in pubs and restaurants.

We allow people to try us out on up to three walks before they must become a paid member of the Ramblers. Click the link to join online and complete the online form.

For a small membership fee, you will become part of Britain's biggest walking community and help to support the charitable work of the Ramblers. There are also several benefits and offers available once you have joined the Ramblers. In addition. you will get to meet some great people, see some of Britain's best countryside and views whilst enjoying the fresh air and exercise, not to mention great social events and weekend breaks.

As photographs of people are a type of personal data, we ask members to follow the following guidelines when adding photos to this Meetup Group. Click on the link for details.

We look forward to welcoming you on one of our events and pride ourselves as having a reputation of being a particularly friendly group.

Bridgnorth Book Club

Bridgnorth, L6

Bridgnorth Book Club
Our book swap, coffee and chat is a monthly social Meetup based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. We choose a group read every other month to discuss. Please bring along any unwanted books to share and swap. We host one online event a month to discuss our chosen read - please note we are not a predominantly online group. We host other bookish events such as author evenings, theatre and cinema trips and literary festivals, but are not adverse to afternoons out just for coffee, cake and company. **Please note:** Due to the recent substantial increase in the MeetUp platform fees for organisers, we have had to implement a subscription fee. As the MeetUp fees are charged twice-yearly, this is how the group fees will be collected, i.e. from 1st August – 31st January and 1st February – 31st July. **The fee is £18.00 for 6 months.** Please settle your fee within 2 weeks of joining the group via Paypal  **https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/bridgnorthmeetu**p Should you decide not to continue, then unfortunately it will be necessary to remove you from the group out of fairness to those members who have paid. Thank you! If you do put your name down for an event and are unable to attend, even last minute, please update your RSVP as soon as possible to give someone on the waiting list the opportunity to attend. Please apply using a recent photograph of yourself so that you can be identified at events and preferably with your first and last name. The organisers reserve the right to remove non-active members. Reinstatement is at the organiser's sole discretion. We are looking to establish friendships with local people so if you are outside the Shropshire area we may refuse approval to join. We like to keep the group current so if you have not attended an event in your first 6 months, then membership may be withdrawn. Acceptance to the group is at the organiser's discretion.
