This is a safe and open space. Look forward to meeting you! Thank you for the best years of our life! Here are some of our past experiences: Cork Vegans Meetup launched Saturday 16th of April 2016 with just 2 attendees driving to Galway for a Cool Vegan Festival, 1 week later we had over 23 attendees eating a Vegan dinner in the Quay Co-op, thus Sociable Saturdays was born & officially our favourite day of the week! By 11th of December 2016 we had reached 300 members & we were over the moon. So many cool people in one city! Here is just a snippet of what happened during the first 3 + 1/2 years of Cork Vegans and Veggies [Everyone Welcome] ❤️ Cork Vegans supported & were supported by more than 35 different Vegan friendly businesses in Cork 🧡 We enjoyed all the delights & getting to support 8 different local markets 💛 Collaborated with 12 different activist groups, initiatives and events as well as tons of our own campaigning for Veganism & fundraising for over 9 different Irish charities 💚 8 kind individuals opened up their homes to us teaching Vegan cooking, hosting potlucks, screenings & outdoor adventures. 2 other awesome individuals hosted other cool Vegan events 💙 So many long term friendships were made, lots of learning from those passing through the city, activists were born and others were empowered, evolving their activism 💜 Many birthday parties celebrated & even 1 big Vegan Christmas was spent together 💚 2 Vegan businesses launched 🧡 A discount card was created for 2018 as well as lots of educational materials created & distributed for free around the city We have since relaunched the group and so much has happened already. Excited for the months and hopefully years ahead if we can get enough members interested in taking an active role in this community. Looking forward to seeing you at our next event!

We have a very friendly team of Event Organizers/Hosts who work well together. We organise 4 types of events: <br>'Roadrunners' - chasing personal bests even KOM's, love long distance hilly tours.<br>'Alpacas' -mid pace improvers, 21km/hr average with a few 40k's under belt and ready for tackling 80k+. <br>Leisure cycles - come one come all. No clock watching here but might bring a picnic to share (typically 25k, mostly flat). <br>Once off events - Mountain biking, sportives, hillwalking and social events.

Start with leisure cycles if it's been a while or you are new to cycling. Of course there will be coffee stops or quick rests to regroup along the way.

We look out for each other on the roads and practice safe cycling in a group. Please note event attendees are responsible for their own health and well being following safe cycling etiquette respectful to all path/road users.

Greater Social Life Union of Cork, Ireland

Cork, ie

Greater Social Life Union of Cork, Ireland

The Thumoslang Network is an association of groups whose members use Thumoslang, the nomenclature for social clarity, as their basic strategy for greater social life. Part of the network is the Greater Social Life Union (GSLU). Its mission is long-lasting joy for its members through faster actualization of their personal ideals.

There are many steps on your journey to greater social life. Here are the first steps for members of GSLU. After reading the rest of this introduction, you should read the 2021 book The Guide to Thumoslang. Many of our members put this new knowledge into practice as suggested by The GSLU Handbook.

When you spend more time in damage control mode and less time benefiting from your various relations, you waste a great deal of effort in your social life. Such a cost of opportunity keeps you from going at high speed towards your ideals, in creating your ideal self, and in actualizing what you truly want to become. This is likely due to a lack of social clarity, which is essential for internal conversations and vital for meaningful relationships.

Unintentionally created in 2017, accidentally discovered in 2018, and first taught in 2019, Thumoslang is the nomenclature for social clarity. It is used as a language for faster communication, be it in complex collaboration or difficult conversation. The first widespread use of social clarity has been predicted by Thumoslang pioneers to be just as important as the first widespread control of fire. All is explained by The Guide to Thumoslang, which is backed by The Dictionary of Thumoslang.

Again, the Thumoslang Network is an association of groups whose members use Thumoslang, the nomenclature for social clarity, as their basic strategy for greater social life. Part of the network is the Greater Social Life Union (GSLU). Its mission is long-lasting joy for its members through faster actualization of their personal ideals.

Your ideals are the same as your ideal self, which means what you truly want to become. "Everything else is secondary," said Steve Jobs. Our group activities involve you with the first practical steps in the further development of your ideals, in keeping others from interfering with your life, and in building a group of in-person friends who keep on encouraging you and nurturing your ideals. To be sure, if you lack social clarity in your internal conversations, face unwanted drama too often, are not sure of your social life or your path into the future, or have no friends and no groups available on a regular basis to help create your ideal self, this group is for you.

*** MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS ***

Our group activities bring you the following benefits:

Benefit 1 - Mastery of Relationships

As new GSLU members participate in the union's activities, they will quickly find themselves having noticeable enhancements in their social lives. The further they participate in GSLU activities, the faster they naturally acquire the mastery of relationships.

Benefit 2 - Best Friends for Your Ideals

Our group activities include practical steps in building a group of in-person friends who keep on encouraging you and nurturing your ideals.

Benefit 3 - Internal Dialogues More Effective

Thumoslang is a set of terminology whose use is intended to benefit one's clarity in social situations. Consequently, Thumoslang allows you to have clearer communication with yourself in your mind.

Benefit 4 - Meaningful Relationships Much Stronger

Our members use Thumoslang to mend or strengthen their existing relationships, build new relations, and achieve greater social life.

Benefit 5 - Faster Actualization of Your Ideals

The actualization of your ideals goes faster when it regularly involves your best group, which is the small group of in-person, second-mind friends who are the best for the nurturing of your ideals. Our activities help you speed up the actualization of your ideals by reducing social roadblocks and increasing social shortcuts in your life.

With Sahaja Yoga Meditation we normally sit on chairs to achieve yoga, effortlessly & spontaneously. So there is no need for mats and no special clothing required. We are all volunteers of a Charity organisation and have many years of experience in offering free Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes. All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight, within us. It's natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable. It's called inner kundalini energy. And everyone already has it — everyone!. It is often likened to an inner feminine or motherly energy which automatically knows about us and what is needed to help us restore balance and harmony within our subtle being. It works spontaneously, effortlessly, organically and cannot be paid for. The classes are designed to help those attending get into a genuine meditative state, which can be felt tangibly. It is quite effortless and spontaneous. The free classes feature introductory talks, video's, practical workshops and general question and answer opportunities, making them perfect for seekers trying to establish a state of yoga, and they are available across London most evenings and throughout the UK. The idea is that you don't do yoga - you Achieve Yoga! Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple, time-honored technique. It helps those who enjoy it, reduce stress and increase wellness. It brings better focus and helps people become more centered and better balanced. Anyone can do it. Founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a world wide movement for peace and self awakening. All the meetings and classes are free of any charge. Each week we go through simple meditation techniques, often with guided meditations to help reduce stress and achieve the peace of true meditation. We share tips on how to help stay in balance during the day and how to meditate at home. The meditation is based on connecting with the inner chakras (energy centres) and balancing the subtle body. The tradition and aims of meditation are explained which in essence is to be in the present with no mental activity or thoughts about the past or the future. Occasionally there are 1 day retreats to help those interested, deepen their individual experience and hear advice and tips from those who have been practicing for some time. It’s ultimately all about getting into ‘thoughtless awareness’, a natural state of being. However, we are happy to invite you to our online meditation classes every Tuesday from 7:00 pm, where we will continue with our weekly meditation classes. Biodanza Class with Anastasia. Dance, Joy, Hope, Love, Peace

Cork, ie

I am a newly qualified Biodanza Teacher and I'd love to meet up with people interested in the capacity of Music, Movement and Emotion to lead us into our instinctive capacity for Health and Happiness.

Biodanza opens the possibility for strengthening each person's unique Identity and sense of self and also nurtures the ability of each person to connect with others and with all of humanity.

Rolando Toro the creator of Biodanza believed that we all have a healthy instinctive self which is often inhibited by the activity of the cerebral cortex.

Biodanza seeks to restore a healthy balance between our more ancient brain the hypothalamus which regulates our breathing, temperature, appetite, sleep.....and the cerebral cortex which has the capacity for language, socialisation and inhibition of instincts.

It is true that life would be chaotic if we lived entirely by instinct but it is equally true that many of us are physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually suffering because we no longer honour our instinctive need for rest, for food, for affection..... In fact Rolando taught that our whole culture the whole of humanity can become sick when we fail to listen to our instincts.

Biodanza seeks to restore this balance through the use of specific music and movement to help us access our emotions which are from the instinctive emotional centre of the brain. Dancing is fun, vital and interactive and gives creates a safe and nurturing, gentle space for each person to grow in health and happiness.

Biodanza is the dance of life! Its about living from our instinct for life and love starting in the class but flowing into daily life! Look forward to dancing with you soon! Ana Bermingam-Doran.
