Whether you're a local or new to the city, our goal is to provide a welcoming space where you can meet new friends while participating in fun and engaging social events. Our events include a mix of outdoor activities like walks and hikes, as well as social gatherings for lunch, dinner, or drinks. There's something for everyone! **A few important guidelines for members:** * If you RSVP to an event but can’t attend, please change your RSVP to "No" as soon as possible to free up space for others. * After 3 no-shows, members may be removed from the group to allow new members from the waiting list to join. * For outdoor activities, ensure you wear appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear, and bring essentials like snacks or drinks. We usually meet at a convenient location near public transport, and while we wait for a bit if you're running late, we will proceed with the event after a short delay. **Safety is a priority:** All members participate at their own risk. If you have health concerns, please consult your doctor before joining more strenuous walks, and inform the event organizer if needed. This Ladies Walking Group is for women who enjoy staying active and exploring the outdoors while connecting with other like-minded individuals. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned walker, this group welcomes all fitness levels. Our meetups include scenic nature walks, gentle strolls through local parks, and fun adventures to discover new trails. Please be aware this is just friends meeting up for a walk and we are all responsible for our own health and safety while out and about with this group Every walker who joins the group should understand that participating in outdoor activities like walking requires caution. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure they are physically fit enough to complete the distance of the walk. If there are any doubts, potential walkers should consult their GP beforehand. Since not all trails have solid and even surfaces, each walker must take responsibility for their own safety. Bikepacking & Cycle Touring adventures is open to anyone who loves cycling whether it's day trips, overnighters or trips at home and abroad. There are no leaders just like minded people who want to get together and explore and enjoy the outdoors. Cyclists & events are at all levels & abilities. Bikes must be in good working order & cycling helmets are essential. Any members cancelling last minute or do not show unless in an emergency will be reviewed 2 no shows and members will be removed from the group. Please do not put your name down if you do not intend to join events & membership will be reviewed regularly. The group event hosts & organisers do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to equipment and bikes while participating in events of this group. As with all activities in cycling,injury serious injury & death can occur. You are advised to get your own insurance when participating in the events.

Whether you're new in town, have lived here all your life, or something in between! We are not a dating or singles group. We set up this group to organize sociable walks and events in the ***Wexford/Waterford/Kilkenny*** areas and occasional lunches/café visits after walks. There is a ***five euro annual (calendar year) fee*** payable within 14 days of joining the group or following your first event, whichever is first, and on 1 January thereafter. Full details of how to pay will be sent to you on joining. Non-payment will result in your removal from the group. If you haven't joined us for a walk ***within 2 months of becoming a member,*** you will be removed from the group. If you have paid your membership fee, you will be refunded. Making it easy to meet new people in Wexford and hopefully making good friends along the way. We will set up nice easy events for people to get to meet up for anyone who is interested 🙂 I want to have a nice group of active members who are respectful to everyone in the group. I will organise different events and try to be there as much as I can but also facilitate meet-ups for people when I’m not around. I will set up a WhatsApp group if I build up numbers. I will remove inactive people and anyone who disrespects other group members.

Hiking in Wicklow - Dublin Mountains and some away Hikes in Ireland & Overseas. This group is about having fun on the hills & trails & is for people who enjoy the Outdoors, and have a reasonable level of fitness & would like to gain some hiking experience with an experienced group of leaders. Hiking Boots and good Raingear recommended Jeans and Runners are not allowed - except @ social events 😂😂 This group does not have professional leaders, just Organisers who are familiar with the routes and Mountains. Dogs not allowed on the Hikes - but we may be open to changing this T&C depending on member interest. By signing up to this group, you accept full responsibility for yourself. There are no fees for hiking with this group.
