The Wellbeing Nest, Malmö
Do you want to live a more fulfilling life? Great – you’ve come to the right place! The focus of this group is to continually learn more about ourselves, and learn new things that allow us to evolve and grow. We focus on 4 core areas/capacities of life: * Spiritual – it’s about focusing on getting to know yourself and clarifying your values and desires, but also about learning about other people’s ways of thinking and seeing the world. (Examples: meditation, talks by people adhering to specific spiritual/religious schools of thought, forest bathing, etc.) * Intellectual – it’s about stimulating your brain and elevating the way you see the world (Examples: book clubs, TED talks discussions, film club, board games, etc.) * Physical – it’s about your physical health and well-being (Examples: yoga, volleyball, tennis, hiking, cooking classes, etc.) * Emotional & mental – it’s about focusing on the ability to deal with challenges and getting the most out of your relationships (Examples: discussion groups, role play games, etc.). These 4 areas can be visualised as a ball divided into 4 chambers, each filled with air. The more air you pump into each chamber, the more momentum the ball will have as it moves. BUT there’s a catch: if you’re not filling each chamber with the same amount of air, the ball will start to wobble and go off track. The same is with the life's capacities. All four need to be BALANCED. This means developing them simultaneously with equal care and attention. All four are also mutually reinforcing – for example, by improving your physical well-being and harmony you also improve your emotional and mental health. We will be organising various activities and events that will help us achieve the balanced and good life with the 4 capacities in mind and as a guiding tool. Lastly, this is just a vision I have for this community but I hope that it will grow and develop organically and everyone’s welcome to voice their ideas so if you have any suggestions for any events/lectures/activities, please reach out to me so that we could discuss it and make it happen. **If you would like to organise an event that is aligned to our values, please email me at perfectlifespot@gmail.com.** To know more about me, please visit [charnita.com](www.charnita.com)

Lund (Audio)Book Club Meetup Group

Lund, se

Lund (Audio)Book Club Meetup Group
There can be lots of ideas for a book club. However, perhaps the best ones are those that are organically formed by those who participate. In short, the vision is to have a book club for people (like the organizer) that like to read, learn, keep oneself up to date with the world, and enjoy discussing books in a friendly setting. The discussions are held in English by default, unless all attendees prefer to speak Swedish. We usually decide on what to read next during the discussion of the book we have just read, and anyone attending is free to contribute with well motivated suggestions. We try to maintain a good mix of non-fiction with fiction, value secularism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secularism) in lieu of fundamentalism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fundamentalism), and strive for reading things that has the potential to make us better in the here and now. We think it's a plus if the books chosen are available as audiobooks, as that enables more settings in which we can work towards getting through them. Usually we meet at a calm café or similar - where discussions can be held effortlessly -, in either Lund of Malmö. To keep the group's size manageable (<50 members), inactive members will be successively removed. This enables the taking on of new interested people that aim for more active participation. Inactivity is defined here as not having shown up to the most recent meetups and/or not being signed up for the coming one.

Join our next meetup, bring your friends & your playful mood and... **Let's Get the Game Started...!!** New Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/875606246373525 **A few Rules on behaviour and guidelines** As with any Meetup group there are a few rules and principles: \- Act according to common sense and respect for each other\. Harassment and aggressive behaviour is not tolerated\! \- Take care of the flags and avoid playing around with them\. The flags are not easy to get\, so please refrain from throwing them around\, fiddling with them\, or use them for things they are not suppose to be used for\. Their only purpose is to be on the table\, so newcomers and general members can figure out what tables we are using\. \- Like any Meetup group there are members who sign up and never show up to the events\. In general\, we are a pretty open group and don't keep much track of who shows up and not\. However\, as Bastard Cafe has become more popular over time and tables have become difficult to get without reservation\, limitation on how many can attend has been installed\. This also means that people who RSVP\, but discover they can't attend\, should also cancel their RSVP\, so others can attend\! This also help us figuring out how many tables we should prepare for\. People who fail to do this on several occassions \(around 3\-5 times\) will be removed from the group\! Else maintain a positive mindset and enjoy the games!
