Depending on the active hosts, there may be intermediate hikes, tram road walks, the occasional activity in a park, Gardens. Here are pictures of some past hikes in google photos link. It may not open for everyone, but gives you an idea of where we have been. https://photos.app.goo.gl/FxzHKi9sq5Ho8pax5 Lately, due to a lack of multiple organizers events are mostly tram road walks, Which are lovely. Hikes: The pace will be set by the event host. PURPOSE of this meetup: The purpose of this meetup is to be out in nature, appreciate, cultivate protection for it. Enjoy. Immerse. Take pictures. When there are seasonal rains, we will stop to identify some flowers and plants but not for an extended amount of time. Therefore, there is an element of -'nature hike'- to these hikes, rather than pure exercise without stopping.  We will stop to take in the view. Get water. And get exercise. All. PACE: relaxed. ask the host if pace is an issue for you. Meetup etiquette and guidelines: Phones on silent. (Organizers may use phones to navigate.) no personal attacks , ill manners , aggression. Don't sign up as a social placeholder then cancel last minute because something better came along. Don't be a no-show. If you have to cancel 24 hours before the event time, let your host know. RSVP only if you intend to go. You are responsible for your own safety.

The event host may flag you as "No Show" even if you change your RSVP at the last minute.  We usually have a waitlist. You will have kept another member from participating. If the event has required reservations or a team, NO SHOW will result in a 2 week bar from all OVOF events. Otherwise after one No Show the event host may move you to the Waitlist when you sign up for the next event. AFTER three No Shows, you will be removed from the group. You may rejoin when ready to participate. We encourage active participation- Meetup automatically sends reminders to those who have not visited the OVOF page for 11 months. After 12 months of not checking out our activities, we figure you moved. The leadership team will remove you from the group. You may rejoin when ready to participate.
