This group is ideal for people between 35 to 50's and those that want to get out and have fun. I started this group because the older we get it’s hard to socialize outside of our immediate circles. Our events will have dinner parties at new restaurants, girl's night out, couple get-together, movie nights, game nights, kids activities, mom nights out, spa day, happy hours, outdoor activities, Indian Cultural Events like Diwali & Holi, holiday events and more! I am open to suggestions! Looking forward to meeting some awesome Indians/Desis! Besides I love planning stuff to do and want new friends to do it with.

GO! (Gethsemane Outdoors) hiking and outdoors group heads into the beautiful Southern California land and seascapes once a month to re-energize our spirits, re-engage with others and restore that balance that traffic, stress and cubicles have stripped away. Hiking, kayaking, sledding and more are all practically (if not literally) at our doorstep, so we should get out there! Originally started as the outdoors group at our church (Hope Lutheran in Mar Vista) with members and close friends, we welcome anyone interested in a morning in the sun (or marine layer ... cancelled for out-and-out rain). We meet one Saturday of each month at the outdoors destination. Anyone interested in getting outdoors is welcome to join. Of course, hiking and other outdoor events do have a certain level of risk and that risk is assumed by each of the participants in the event. Please always wear appropriate footward, clothing, sunscreen, etc. Take reasonable precautions to prevent injury or negative impact from outdoor activities by wearing proper hiking boots, sunblock, bringing water and snacks to keep up energy.  Hope you can join us outside! This group's focus is ALL forms of outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, camping, running, orienteering, road biking, mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, rafting, volleyball, tennis, skiing, snowboarding, inline skating, rock climbing, or anything else you can think of. Sometimes this includes multiday adventures to amazing destinations, as well as, an occasional social event like a dinner, social mixer, picnic, or bowling etc.

This group does not exclude anyone from any events based on any form of demographics as long as you are the law abiding type, although the nature of some events may make them inappropriate for kids and/or require a certain skill or fitness level.

This group is for Advanced Volleyball Players (Big court, 4 to 5 per side) who want to enjoy the outdoor weather, play a games with great rallies and get good exercise on a grass court in Warner Park. **SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS TO PLAY** To keep the quality and duration of game-play high. - Participants should have good passing, serving, digging, setting technique and be intermediate to competitive. Eden Outdoor Adventures (EOA) Los Angeles is a community based, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to create an alternate social arena for single members of the Jewish community in the Los Angeles Area.
