Hey East Bay - I'm looking at starting a regular playing schedule. By joining the group, that helps me gauge the interest. Stay tuned. This group is focused on intermediate grass volleyball in the east bay. Players should be comfortable in their skills and not be brand new to the sport. This is to reduce injuries that can occur when new players are mixed with non-new players. This is also to encourage healthy competition in fair spread across the court(s). Game play will consist of a max of 4 vs. 4. You are welcome to bring your own net and team…. And drinks! Other than that, if you’re looking to meet other players, make friends, or just be active over the weekend, come join us!

I am married and am looking for friends to hang out with and make a difference. I have events that I organize around the yearly calendar. Just recently ended a 30 year job. I am ready for some adventures! Let's start this group. What you need: transportation, good attitude, and hikers I am not a 12 mile hiker. I am about a two/three mile hiker. Let's Meetup at a fun activity *Sports Restaurants* around the Bay for fun: *Socialization*, food, drinks, play sports and activities [Boccee Ball, interactive Sports Screens (simulators for: Golf, football, baseball, basketball, games, etc), axe throwing, shuffle board, corn hole, etc.] The event organizer will book court / game time and the bill will be estimated in advance and the actual bill will be divided evenly by all participants at the restaurant so best to bring some cash for court time fees the event organizer will pay ;-) Of course, you pay for the food and drinks you order at the restaurant direct. Sunday afternoon time slot isn't working for sixes. Probably getting too hot for day games anyway. We can switch to evening games, but again not sure if we have enough players. We are a group of casual and social recreational hikers that meet for weekend half day hikes (and a few mid-week hikes) where we live, work and play, in the beautiful hills of the San Francisco Bay Area!  Special urban hikes in San Francisco are also featured.  Come and enjoy some fun hikes with us and meet other active people with many common interests.  Friendly dogs are welcome to join us on many of our hikes.  ***All liability questions must be answered with, "Yes." for your acceptance into the group.***  **HIKERS PLEASE NOTE  :** **The majority of the hikes that are currently posted are rated MODERATE DIFFICULTY - occasionally we will post some easier and sometimes if the group requests , some a little harder , maybe longer . By signing up to attend our weekly hiking events you should have some hiking experience and be able to keep up with the group (22-25 min per mile), in order to finish the hike in the described time allotted.
