Our associated organization is the Santa Margarita Group of the Sierra Club.  Our goal is to give people of all ages and capabilities  a chance to learn about nature and come to love it as we do.  The cost to participate is free, or just the price of entry to our venue, and we ask for a donation of two dollars per family to maintain this website.

We'll also post details of our monthly speakers, held at 6:30pm on the second Thursday of every month, and our local hikes which are open to everybody. (You don't have to be a Sierra Club member to join in!)

The group is primarily suited to those who are fit, agile and have mountain and desert hiking skills and experience. There may be exposure, rock scrambling, down climbing and boulder hopping involved and lots of off trail exploration. Many events are off trail exploratory hikes in the wilderness. Events may be all day in duration and members should be prepared to travel in the dark if necessary. The ten essentials, boots, extra clothes, water and food are some of the items that should carried on our events. The group does local and other events in the Southern California region. In the winter. Many events are in the Anza-Borrego desert area. The rest of the year events range from local to Sierra trips. Requirements for membership are: 1\. Full recognizable face photo \( if you are afraid someone is stalking you then you probably shouldn't join\)\. 2\. Answering the question about your recent \(6 months\) hiking experience\. If I cannot make a determination of your current hiking ability from the information you provide\. Your request will be denied\. If I know you don't worry about answering\. 3\. Being 18 years of age or older\. \( a simple yes will suffice\.\) 4\. Reading and agreeing to the waiver below\. 5\. All persons must join as individuals \(no couples profiles allowed\) 6\. You must have a valid email address with meetup \(so that you can be contacted if needed for events that you have signed up for\)\. 7\. This group is being created for ladies/babes that want to have fun and create things with other ladies and in doing so make new friendships Laughs and memories. I wanted to start this craft group because I believe that most ladies are more creative than they think they are! I love to make  things that make me happy and I know how fulfilling it is to share that with others. Did you know that studies show that Expressing yourself through artistic and creative activities is like a prescription for your mental health? Turning to creativity has been proven in extensive research to relieve both stress and anxiety. It also keeps our cognitive health from declining as we get older. I hope to hold 1-2 classes per month. Craft classes will include paper crafts, glass crafts, plants, Jewelry making, dream boards, Silk and fresh flower arranging and many other things throughout the year. I purchase my products at hobby lobby, Michael’s, Dollar stores, Walmart or anywhere else that catches my eye. Here are some rules of how this group will work I will have 10 to 14 ladies come per lesson, the number of people will depend on the craft. The price of the craft lesson will depend on my cost for materials, gas and my time for instruction.  Classes will be prepaid and NON REFUNDABLE no exceptions.  I purchase your materials as soon as you pay so I will have spent your money and held your spot already. Hope you understand. When you sign up your spot is NOT held until you’ve paid for the class. So I would suggest paying right away to hold your spot. I kindly ask that you pay only by zelle or cash drop off at my place.  I am not set up for any other kind of payment so do not send any other kind of payment please. 🙏 The location of the classes will mostly be in the Temecula area. Anyone who loves to ride, and it does not matter what you ride. Anyone is invited, anyone can join, and with no fee! Meetup for small two rider groups, large group rides, short or long rides. Only requirement, a motorcycle... \ We have a few rules/guidelines to follow: 1\. First and foremost\,RIDE SAFE\! \(Be prepared & use common sense to what you wear\)\. 2\. As a Member of The Lost Riders you agree to Hold Harmless\, The Lost Riders\, it's Leadership team and it's individual members during activities normal to riding a motorcycle either alone or in a group setting or at any group settings or functions\. Each member agrees to be licensed to operate a motorcycle in a legal manner and understands it is each individual's rider to understand the rules of the road and how to operate a motorcycle safely\.  3\. When your out with one member or a "pack"\, remember your representing our group\. 4\. We would like to see the group get along\, any negative comments keep to yourself\. 5\. Please no excessive drinking\, swearing\, fighting\, speeding\, stunting\, etc\.\.\. 6\. No member will take the attitude that they do not have to help other members and other members don't have to help in return\. 7\. The group will always stay together on rides\, runs\, etc\. The only way a group member will be permitted to leave the main group will be to notify whomever is leading\. When the time comes that the majority feels it is time to leave\, we will all leave together\. Anyone staying behind for a good reason will do so at his own risk\.  8\. To ride with us\, each group member is required to maintain a valid drivers license with motorcycle class endorsement or motorcycle learners permit to train with a valid rider\. 9\. We require to maintain membership with the Lost Riders\, that each member attend a minimum of at least two meetup events per year\, whether it be a ride or a meet and greet\. If you can not make a ride you RSVP'd to\, please make someone in the leadership group aware as soon as possible\. This way the other riders are not delayed in waiting for someone who is not going to attend\. If you accrue more than one \(1\) "no show" in your Attendance Stats\, and also make no attempt to contact or "post" reason for a no show after you RSVP to a meetup event\, your membership will be deleted from "The Lost Motorcycle Riders"\. \(Do not leave us waiting for you if you posted you would go\) 10\. Participate as much as you are comfortable with beyond the two event minimum\. You joined to ride and meet others with the same interest and the more you participate the more you will get to know others and enjoy the experience\.
