Sacramento Healing Circle Meetup Group

Sacramento, CA

Sacramento Healing Circle Meetup Group
Join us under the light of the full moon and other sacred lunations for a nurturing gathering of community, song, and intention-setting! About Us: The Lunar Cacao Circle is a warm and welcoming group dedicated to celebrating the energy of the moon and the power of cacao. Each month, we come together to connect, share, and uplift one another through ritual, song, and spiritual practices. Our gatherings are designed to foster community, personal growth, and a deeper connection to the natural rhythms of life. What to Expect: Cacao Ceremony: Experience the heart-opening properties of ceremonial cacao as we prepare and share this sacred drink together. Song and Sound: Participate in uplifting songs, chants, and drumming to raise our collective energy and enhance our connection. Intention Setting: Take time to reflect on your goals and dreams, sharing your intentions for the lunar cycle with the group. Energy Clearing: Enjoy a space of renewal and clarity through guided practices, creating a harmonious environment for all. Who Can Join: All are welcome—whether you're new to spiritual practices or have years of experience. We embrace diversity and seek to create an inclusive, supportive environment for everyone. Where & When: We gather outdoors around a fire (or in a cozy indoor space) on the night of the full moon, new moon, and other significant spiritual days. Check our calendar for specific dates and locations! Come as you are! Bring an open heart, a blanket to sit on, and any snacks or offerings you’d like to share. We look forward to connecting and creating magic together!

Paddle Peddle Powder

Folsom, CA

Paddle Peddle Powder
Greetings! This group is for those with a flexible schedule who plan to be active in all four seasons. Many events will be mid-week. Let’s enjoy the great outdoors together for safety and social purposes while becoming more fit and healthy. We’ll be cycling, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, etc. All skill levels are welcome. Making new friends is an added bonus:) Most of our rides will take place in Folsom and other local areas on paved bike trails. We’ll get on the water at Lake Natoma and other lakes off Highways 50 and 80. Skiing and snowboarding opportunities will be primarily at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. Those interested in hitting the slopes may want to take advantage of the EPIC pass before the rates go up again on Nov 20. IMPORTANT NOTE: Most snow days will likely take place on MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS unless another member volunteers to host an activity. When cycling, participants should be comfortable occasionally riding independently if they fall behind the group. Some meetups may start in Folsom SRA where there will be a $10 parking fee. A Golden Poppy Annual Day Pass may be purchased through the Calif Dept of Parks and Recreation. These passes start the clock on the month they are purchased, so buying at the beginning of the month is best. IMPORTANT: To join, your real first name and a face photo are required so we can recognize you at events. This group is currently limited to 50 members in order to stay within the basic plan. Inactive members will be removed to make room for new members. DISCLAIMER: This Meetup Group and its organizers do not, in any way, claim to be professionals or otherwise licensed or certified to provide any services. Cycling, kayaking, winter sports and other outdoor activities can be physically demanding and involve hazards that come with recreating outdoors. By participating in any posted event, YOU ARE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND WELL-BEING. Your personal safety depends on your own judgement and experience.

Desis In Sacramento for fun

Folsom, CA

Desis In Sacramento for fun

There are a lot of desis in the area but its hard to meet with anybody. This group would hopefully help meet with other desis who wanna have fun
All desis who like to have fun can join this group

We plan to have activities like Game Nights, Board games,  Poker, Outdoor activities, hiking etc.

A few additions done on Feb 13th 2020

-------------------------------------------------------

1. This is not a passive group i.e. I have seen groups which has 1000 or so members but only 5-6 people show up for events so I request you not just be a member but also participate.

So I introduce a rule to RSVP Yes or No to the events. ( NO also) so that we know that you are not sleeping out there. :)

2. To increase participation, I would create a coffee meetup to welcome a certain member within 2 weeks of that member joining. All are welcome to come to that. That meetup would be in Folsom/EDH area and according to the time you mentioned in your profile as being suitable for you. If you can't make it then respectfully post it there why and let me know when would be a good time to have that meetup.

If you can't meet existing members within 2 weeks, I wonder what's the point of joining this group anyway.

3. If You RSVP Yes, and you want to make it No, then you can change it to No at most 24 hrs in advance.

4. Other members and organizers spend considerable time and energy to get this group going. Lets respect everybody and ensure that everybody has a good time.

5. ALWAYS MAINTAIN MUTUAL RESPECT.

Sorry for this boring talk. Lets START THE FUN.

PS: I may start charging 20 USD as membership fee soon to meet the expenses of the meetup group subscription.
