West Hartford Catholic Young Adults

West Hartford, CT

West Hartford Catholic Young Adults
The West Hartford Catholic Young Adults (aka Crossfire) is a group of for those in their 20s and 30s focused on faith, fellowship, and community service. We meet at and are run through St. Thomas the Apostle Church but you do not need to be a parishioner or even Catholic to participate in our events. No matter where you are in your faith journey, we'd love to have you. We host variety of social events, service projects and work on our spiritual development through weekly bible study on Tuesdays, going to Mass together, retreats and adoration. Maybe the last time you participated in something like this was Catholic school or CCD, maybe you've never studied the Bible at all ... all good! We simply dissect the coming weekend's mass readings including the Gospel, led by a rotation of group members, and follow with a friendly and faith-filled discussion.  We all know what it's like to be "the new guy" --most of us just dropped in one day knowing no one after moving from out-of-state for a new job looking for faith formation and friendship. We always have something in the works and would love to meet you. **Just a note:** We're on Meetup to reach new people, however, the majority of our 50+ active members are not active on this site.
