My name is Kendra Yates, I’m a certified yoga teacher who loves building community and sharing yoga teachings I’ve learned over the last decade. Our meetup is great for anyone that is able to stand up and sit down without assistance, I guide everyone from yoga pose to yoga pose and our focus is on doing what feels good on our body. June 4th, 2021 This group is operated by the Florida Trail Association. We are a community who love to get outdoors to hike, backpack, paddle, and give back by way of volunteer trail maintenance.  Joining this Meetup does not constitute membership in the FTA and unless specifically mentioned, you are not required to hold an FTA membership to participate. Events which are FTA Members Only will be clearly indicated. We work in cooperation with the US Forest Service, State Forest Service, SWFWMD, DEP, and other land managers to keep the Florida National Scenic Trail, the Western Corridor, and designated side trails open for recreational use. Join us at Heartwood Preserve Conservation Cemetery for free activities and tours. Events vary, but focus on nature education, meditation, and healing movement. Most events are hybrid indoor-outdoor. Please wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing, and sun protection. The International Ladies Club (ILC) is a Meetup group for women who were born outside of the United States, grew up outside of the United States, speak English as a second language, and now live in the Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Clearwater and Tampa area. If you live in an area that is not mentioned but are willing to drive you are also welcome to join us. If you are a woman born in a foreign country and lived most of your life abroad this is the group for you. Our group is for women who are interested in making new friends, sharing each others cultures, foods, and just having friends to socialize with. There is no need to be shy, we will make you feel welcomed and accepted the very first time you attend one of our Meetup events.  We currently have members from over 35 countries from all over the world. This is not your average "let's meet up for coffee" type of group. This group is for active ladies 55+ who like to socialize and have fun! Activities will consist of lunches, brunches, dinners, happy hours and other events. You must have a current facial photo of yourself so we can identify and welcome you at events. We will keep the group small so we can form some great friendships. This is an INVITATION ONLY private group. There are many groups that have a large membership and don’t care **if** you sign up for an event or **show up** for an event. This is not that type of group! If you are a **No Show** with no cancellation notice, you will be removed from the group. You should edit your RSVPs at least 24 hours in advance of events. Welcome! We are glad you have found your way to our special place to meet. This group will assist in learning about healing through breathwork, movement, energy healing, and meditation. Through teaching holistic healing approaches, you may reduce pain, anxiety and fatigue, boost your sense of wellness and peace, and develop a connection with the present moment. Online and outdoor sessions (in a park) will be tailored to the event participants and may include breathwork, qi gong, tapping, meditation, and reiki energy work.
