This is a group for people that like to paddle, trail run, backpack, camp and hike.

Formerly known as the 360 Volleyball Camp, we have expanded to pursue our mission of helping people stay healthy and active. The purpose of HALO is to bring the Central Florida community together to create and maintain a healthy active lifestyle. Through the power of nutritional education and a complimentary community fitness program involving a wide variety of group classes, we hope to help anyone who is ready. From complete beginner to seasoned veteran, we welcome all fitness levels and we have something for everyone. Together, we can make a difference. Will you be a part of the movement? Calling all adventure hikers! This is a group for walkers and outdoor adventurers of all different ages, skill levels and body shapes. There is no fee to be in this group, but if you want to chip in towards the semi-annual Meetup dues, come talk to me.  I started this group to get off the couch and get to know the people in the community. Fitness is easier in numbers. Good for your heart socially, emotionally and physically. We will walk at designated times and places. Try to remain active in the group. Suggestions for new activities are encouraged. And if you want to help post/organize events, let me know. Different is good!

We are the Heathrow Chapter of the International MOMS Club ®. We have been a support system of the Heathrow Community Moms for almost 20 years! We offer a diverse multitude of activities, educational resources, and support systems to benefit our members and their families! Each month we have a range of activities including park days, in home play dates, group outings to places such as the firehouse, zoo splash pad and local story times. We also have events that cater just to the moms such as moms morning out and moms night out. As a non-profit organization, we are lead by an elected board and complete at least one service project yearly that benefits mothers and/or children.

Dragon Boating is the fastest growing water sport in the world, and is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get a tremendous workout and make new friends. This group is for anyone 14+ and all fitness levels are encouraged to join. This can be a regular part of your workout routine or you can become a serious Dragon Boater and join our racing team, ScORCh.

Orlando Dragon Boat Club was featured on CNN in April 2017 as part of the CNN Staying Well segment.

Get your company involved! We can accomodate your company team with boat, steersperson, coach and time on the water to prepare for the GWN Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival at Turkey Lake every year in October.

Are you a mom in Heathrow looking for a fun group to make great friends for you, your kids and your family?

We are a support, social and charitable group for the modern mother in Heathrow, Florida. Our main focus is offering mothers the support they need to be great women as they wear the many hats of motherhood today. We're moms, wives, friends, individuals, volunteers, teachers, homemakers, and career jugglers. Today, more than ever, as we balance the many demands of being women and mothers, we need the support of other women and mothers to grow happy children and families, while being happy ourselves. We recognize that this means including the entire family, so we have social activities for moms, couples, families, and regular playdates for kids at various times to support working mothers, stay-at-home mothers and everyone in between. We also support our community through philanthropy benefiting local children in need.

We ask that you host or plan at least 2 activities a year. This can be any type of activity - for moms, couples/dads, the whole family, or kids' playdates - and can be located where ever you choose. Also, we require members to participate in at least one event every three months to maintain their membership. Our dues are $30 per year for current members and $35 for new members to cover administrative costs, such as the Meetup site cost, and fees associated with Incorporation, which is for the protection of everyone in the group, and to help make our events exciting and fun! Surplus is spent on charity or community outreach and is voted on as a group. We are a non-profit incorporated group and liability releases are required to participate in events.
