Freethinkers of Coastal Volusia

Ormond Beach, FL

Freethinkers of Coastal Volusia
Freethinkers, Skeptics, Humanists, Agnostics, Atheists, Philosophers, Intellectuals, Scientists, Explorers, and any open-minded curious people and those wishing to meet new friends are all welcome! We are a social group of open-minded people who share a general world view that is based on reason and logic. We plan a variety of activities and get-togethers that are entertaining and fun and are not limited to philosophical discussions or topics. The intention is to create opportunities for people to get together and make new friends. Perhaps some they might not have met otherwise. This is not a discussion group or book club where organizers talk about topics or present info. We can watch TED talks for those ;) We are not here to push any specific agenda or point of view. This is a social group to facilitate meeting new people. Members can also set up their own preferred activities and invite whoever they want, so it will be flexible and low key. In the past we have met up at restaurants, at the beach, at concerts, parks, on excursions or boating trips, at members’ homes for parties or game nights or to play cards, or countless other activities. We are organized as a social group to get together and meet up. Not really as an educational or informational group to teach or advocate any particular viewpoints or philosophies. Feel free to sign up, and also consider posting suggestions for what types of get togethers you would like to attend. We are responsive to the preferences of the members and love feedback. Welcome!
