Greater Social Life Union of Port St. Lucie

Port Saint Lucie, FL

Greater Social Life Union of Port St. Lucie

The Thumoslang Network is an association of groups whose members use Thumoslang, the nomenclature for social clarity, as their basic strategy for greater social life. Part of the network is the Greater Social Life Union (GSLU). Its mission is long-lasting joy for its members through faster actualization of their personal ideals.

There are many steps on your journey to greater social life. Here are the first steps for members of GSLU. After reading the rest of this introduction, you should read the 2021 book The Guide to Thumoslang. Many of our members put this new knowledge into practice as suggested by The GSLU Handbook.

When you spend more time in damage control mode and less time benefiting from your various relations, you waste a great deal of effort in your social life. Such a cost of opportunity keeps you from going at high speed towards your ideals, in creating your ideal self, and in actualizing what you truly want to become. This is likely due to a lack of social clarity, which is essential for internal conversations and vital for meaningful relationships.

Unintentionally created in 2017, accidentally discovered in 2018, and first taught in 2019, Thumoslang is the nomenclature for social clarity. It is used as a language for faster communication, be it in complex collaboration or difficult conversation. The first widespread use of social clarity has been predicted by Thumoslang pioneers to be just as important as the first widespread control of fire. All is explained by The Guide to Thumoslang, which is backed by The Dictionary of Thumoslang.

Again, the Thumoslang Network is an association of groups whose members use Thumoslang, the nomenclature for social clarity, as their basic strategy for greater social life. Part of the network is the Greater Social Life Union (GSLU). Its mission is long-lasting joy for its members through faster actualization of their personal ideals.

Your ideals are the same as your ideal self, which means what you truly want to become. "Everything else is secondary," said Steve Jobs. Our group activities involve you with the first practical steps in the further development of your ideals, in keeping others from interfering with your life, and in building a group of in-person friends who keep on encouraging you and nurturing your ideals. To be sure, if you lack social clarity in your internal conversations, face unwanted drama too often, are not sure of your social life or your path into the future, or have no friends and no groups available on a regular basis to help create your ideal self, this group is for you.

Our members use Thumoslang to mend or strengthen their existing relationships, build new relations, and achieve greater social life.

Benefit 5 - Faster Actualization of Your Ideals

The actualization of your ideals goes faster when it regularly involves your best group, which is the small group of in-person, second-mind friends who are the best for the nurturing of your ideals. Our activities help you speed up the actualization of your ideals by reducing social roadblocks and increasing social shortcuts in your life.

Does Anyone with similar Interests as me Actually Live Here

Port Saint Lucie, FL

I've come to this site multiple times in the past 2 years in a DESPERATE attempt to make friends yet have found NO groups or events that match what I'm looking for. SO I am doing the things I, as an introvert, DREAD doing and putting myself out there first. This group description will just be a description of me. I am trying to use this site like one of those dating apps that I swore I'd never use... yet here I am... So... Hi! I'm Salem. I am a recently out, pre-HRT trans man who likes anime (though I haven't been watching much recently and have been watching more YouTube instead), Dungeons and Dragons (I would LOVE to find a group that can meet on weeknights), and reading (though my current ADHD hyper fixation has decided I am not aloud to read anything that does not have BL, Comedy, AND fantasy or paranormal aspects). I also love animals, and would LOVE to get a snake but stigmas have made it very hard to find an apartment that allows it. As previously stated I am a trans-man who... thinks he's probably gay but still isn't sure (as in liking other men) but still isn't sure. I'm not an outdoors person unless it's for a farmers market or crafts show. I love music and grew up in choir. I am a Sign Language Interpreter and have been for about 3 years now. I am only qualified for educational interpreting at the moment though which means I can only interpreter in schools... in Florida... as a recently out trans person... If you know anything about current event in the LGBT community you understand why I am drowning in depression over this. I can be A LOT so I am being fully open and honest here and if ANYTHING I have said turns you off, then why are you even still reading this? Basically, I am just a guy who is DESPERITE to find friends in the area so that I'm not dredging through my weeks fully engulfed in my depression and desperate for the weekends to I can run back to my parents house an hour and a half away where my friends are so I can sob to them and lose myself in a fantasy world of DnD. I am 29... it is embarrassingly sad to have drive home to my parents sobbing after a hard week. I just need SOMEONE here that I can talk to and make things a little more bearable for at least the next 10 months and maybe come next year I'll be certified and can get the hell out of Port Saint Lucie.

Epicurean Explorers

Stuart, FL

Epicurean Explorers
The Epicurean Explorers mainly consists of active fun single seniors, most 65 or older.  Couples are always welcome. We are a group who will drink, eat, and laugh our way through the Treasure Coast's and Palm Beach's best restaurants, cafes, and pubs. Our goal is to schedule restaurants that have excellent ambiance and service to create a comfortable environment for getting to know each other better while we dine. We also catch lots of good Happy Hours!  We'll eat at a wide-variety of restaurants including those serving brunch, sushi, ethnic food, etc. We may even sometimes schedule a potluck night at a member’s local club house..  We intentionally keep the group small (24 members) in order to have restaurants accommodate the full group at each event. ***Dues***. Dues are $20 dollars per email address annually.  Couples only pay $20.  We ask that you pay the Organizer directly and not through the website. ***Our RSVP policy***:   "When you RSVP “yes” for a Meetup, we ask that you attend or change your RSVP to “no” no later than 48 hours prior to the event. This will allow an opportunity for other members to make a reservation/move from the waiting list to going to the event and also allow the event host to call the restaurant and lower the reservation number if necessary.  If a member **habitually** (3 or more times) doesn’t attend a reservation or cancels a few hours before the Meetup which hurts the chances of others to attend, we may have to remove that member from the group.  ***Sunshine Club.***  We also have a voluntary Sunshine Club.  We collect $10 per each member every 2 to 3 months.  The Club is used for member serious illness, family death, etc.  We would like your physical address, email address, birthday; month and day and cell number.  We need this for the Sunshine Club and in case of last minute event changes. We keep a contact list so members can communicate outside of the Meetup event. We know you will find this a fun and exciting group! Cheers!
