UPDATE: Happily retired as of Sept 2023 and psyched up to spend more time outdoors. This Meetup began in Jan 2022 with the intention of exploring the outdoors on weekends as a group, starting with east of Atlanta, walking, hiking, start small, see where it leads. Some examples include: Harbins Park (Dacula), Yellow River Park (St Mtn), Fort Yargo State Park (Winder), Tribble Mill Park (Lawrenceville), Little Mulberry (Dacula), State Botanical Gardens (Athens), Ben Burton Park (Athens), Hard Labor Creek State Park (Social Circle), Watson Mill Bridge State Park (Comer). This club is family friendly. No drinking or drugs allowed. Smoking is allowed, but is discouraged.

No weapons of any kind are allowed on our events. Pocket knives are fine. Nothing more.

Our events are dog friendly. Provided your dog is well behaved, it is welcome on all of our trips. Events that are not dog dog friendly will be marked as such.

Ideally, we would like groups to be attended equally by men and women. At this point, we are planning to keep groups to 24, 12 men and 12 women to keep the group size manageable. Geared towards singles between 35 - 60 + years old. If we have overwhelming interest and enough organizers, we will add additional times to an event or an additional day. Primarily outdoor events with the possibility of dinner or exploring breweries/wineries and/or restaurants after the events.

Our Senior Socialites activities group is a fun and engaging community for older adults who want to stay active and socialize with their peers. We offer a variety of activities that cater to different interests, including exercise and dance classes, games, arts and crafts, and more!! Our group provides a welcoming and supportive environment where members can make new friends and enjoy their golden years to the fullest. Come join us for some good times and great connections!!!

**Camp Queer is a nonprofit dedicated to providing access to the outdoors for the LGBTQ+ community and empowering them to better their own mental health. We offer day hikes, overnight wilderness camping trips, week-long campground retreats, and other outdoor activities. During these programs, we offer yoga, meditation, and mindfulness classes, group sessions, skills workshops, art and music therapy, and other therapeutic activities. Our goal is to empower the queer community to find wellness through shared experiences and time spent in nature.**

 The Mosaic Outdoor Club of Georgia is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Jewish people together to enjoy and foster a greater appreciation of the outdoors.  We are a volunteer-led, member-driven organization that invites you to partake in a variety of activities with other Jewish outdoor enthusiasts.
