This group is a place for fun and exciting friends to meet other interesting and fun individuals. We target the Interstate 575, Cobb, South Marietta and Woodstock.

Our target age group is the 25-55 crowd, although we do not turn away people outside of this age range. We know there are many people out there with who like to have fun...we just have to find them!

Please answer the questions so everyone knows if you are married, a single looking for friends or someone who is looking for that someone special. Through the group and other methods many of us have found that someone special, but still want to remain active in one of Atlanta ’s most favorite groups.

575-Social is NOT a matchmaking or dating Meetup group. We are a safe atmosphere for friends to gather with no pressure and to have fun. Our Meetups are a great way to meet other OTPs with things in common and to develop lasting friendships and in some cases other long-lasting relationships. We plan LOTS of activities...so get up off your couch and come meet some new people at one of them.

This group is for you to get fit, more healthy, make friends while walking.

My name is Marigold. I started a local walking group to keep active and fit. I realized others could benefit from this so decided to share with more people that is how this group got started.

Walking for Fitness and Fun is for you if you want to keep fit, meet new friends and get the support of others to keep going with your fitness objectives.

Walking for Fitness and Fun is for different fitness levels. It's for you if you're interested in the outdoors, exercise, meeting new people, reconnecting with nature and having fun.

Our walks and hikes are in the metro Atlanta area particularly in the West, North West and South West areas.

To keep things simple you are responsible for your own health and safety and not the organizers or event hosts.

We walk as a group for approximately 1 to 2 hours which can be 1-5 miles in distance depending on the terrain e.g. parks or nature trails.

Please wear good walking shoes, and drink water before and after walks. You might also like to bring with you a light weight backpack, a facecloth or small towel (for warm days) and a bottle of water.


Feel free to invite friends and family on walks. Please update your RSVPs if your plans change as we have a two 'no shows' policy.

'Beginning is half the battle won'

Born in a time of COVID-19/ Coronavirus, we're a group of beginner fishermen, fisherwomen and anglers desiring to get outside in a way that we learn from each other while having fun outdoors and doing something where we can respect our distance naturally while developing ourselves collectively.  Experienced anglers are welcome as well, too.  We would love to learn from you, and you know how good it is to teach a man or woman to fish.  It's way better and much more satisfying than giving him or her one; you're teaching and learning self-reliance.

There's no need to be an expert in anything; we're not out to compete. Just join up and learn from each other and build friendships online and outdoors. For the outdoors part, you'll need your rod, real and tackle, and a Georgia fishing license. You can get them for $15 from Walmart or Bass Pro Shops, etc. (Georgia Residents). No training needed.

Remember to bring your masks (balaclavas work well too!). Let's have fun and learn how to harvest some fish!  Kayaks, canoes, etc., they're welcome too!.

Omode´ Play and Create is working to give moms and their kiddos a new kind of playdate. We curate the events with unique, enriching activities for your little one, you secure your spot for the meetup, and you'll be ready to have a playdate with other moms similar to you! Yoga, improv, and cooking classes are just a few examples of the fun to come for our Smyrna/Vinings Meetups. This group is for people over 50 who are looking to connect with like minded individuals! In this age bracket, frequently, there are limited social opportunities where you can meet a new friend, companion or a possible mate. This Meetup group specifically targets the needs of your lifestyle. We will have fun activities in this group. The predominant events in this group will be structured & unstructured "mix & mingles." Feel free to join us if you are in your late 40's too! This is a clique free Meetup!

The organizers spend many hours of their time researching, organizing, and hosting events. Sometimes, the organizers even use their own resources to reserve spaces and times for the group. We rely heavily on the accuracy of RSVPs as we plan our events and make reservations. Members are given ample time and reminders to update their RSVPs days before the event. Please update your RSVP to "NO" when you realize you will not be able to make it.
