The goal of this group is to find community among other queer individuals. We will meet weekly to network and socialize. We will eat, drink and meet like minded individuals.

The goal of this group is to bring together like-minded photographers, beginners and professionals. All skills levels are welcome. The event itself will consist of a model to be photographed at an outdoor location with two professional photographers there for guidance and/or lessons as needed. You can come to learn or you can come to just shoot.

My name is Marigold. I started a local walking group to keep active and fit. I realized others could benefit from this so decided to share with more people that is how this group got started.

Walking for Fitness and Fun is for you if you want to keep fit, meet new friends and get the support of others to keep going with your fitness objectives.

Walking for Fitness and Fun is for different fitness levels. It's for you if you're interested in the outdoors, exercise, meeting new people, reconnecting with nature and having fun.

Our walks and hikes are in the metro Atlanta area particularly in the West, North West and South West areas.

To keep things simple you are responsible for your own health and safety and not the organizers or event hosts.

We walk as a group for approximately 1 to 2 hours which can be 1-5 miles in distance depending on the terrain e.g. parks or nature trails.

Please wear good walking shoes, and drink water before and after walks. You might also like to bring with you a light weight backpack, a facecloth or small towel (for warm days) and a bottle of water.


Feel free to invite friends and family on walks. Please update your RSVPs if your plans change as we have a two 'no shows' policy.

Welcome to a community of mature women! We coordinate/host social activities to help you enjoy and live your best life. We encourage all members to make recommendations for outings and events. We want your participation in this Meetup to be fun and enjoyable. We also offer workshops and life coaching to help women focus on their own selfcare. Remeber, "**It's never too late to get better!**" **Group Protocols:** * All members should check the website for new events monthly. * All women are welcome; however, we are commited to those who "actively" participate. Therefore, our membership **roster is purge quarterly** of women who have not attended an event or visited the site (not the app) within the last 90 days. * There is a **nominal registration fee for all events,** usually $5 - $10 plus the actual cost of the event. This fee helps to offset the cost to maintain the Meetup site ($200 yrly) and the time to research and plan events. It also discourages "no shows." * If you do not wish to pay the fee, please do not join this Meetup. * If you RSVP for an event and do not attend or change your RSVP status before the event, you may be removed from the group. The aforementioned "protocols" have been established to maintain the integrity of our group. Unfortunately, many people join Meetup groups and never attend anything. Ok so lets get into it. This group is for singles that are not in "its complicated, or situationships, or married or swingers and there is no offense meant by saying that but lets get that out of the way. Why 2 - Because the original meet up began in Atlanta, GA. I then moved to California and started a Mistaken Identity Group - West Coast chapter. Now that I'm back in Atlanta and would like to revive this group! How many times have you been told you're not Black enough? Mistaken Identity is an organization created for the sole purpose of extending to its Members an opportunity to find their own Comfort Zone. It was established as a network tool to introduce positive, independent, self-loving African American women to others who have been subjected to the "theory" of not being Black enough. Mistaken Identity serves as a safe haven for African American women to come together to better themselves and the lives of others through a variety of social activities and volunteer projects. If you're a paddler looking for kayak or canoe paddlers in the Georgia, Florida, Alabama or anywhere else that wants to get out on our local waterways as well as an occasional extended canoe and kayak trip you have found the perfect paddling family. Tri-State /Newnan Paddlers is open to paddlers of all levels from flat water to whitewater enthusiast. If you've ever watched others out enjoying our many lakes and rivers from their kayak/or canoe, and wanted to join in this is for you. All we ask is that you have a boat and are willing to be an active participant. \ Safety is our number one priority. With that in mind we have a few common sense rules as follow. 1) Group members must wear coast guard approved PFD at all times while on the water participating in a our Paddlers Meetup event. 2') Members must agree to follow the instructions of the event leader at all times. 3) In Class III rated water or higher members must wear helmets. 4) Members agree to dress appropriately and will bring dry clothing in the event of getting wet. 5)Members take personal responsibility for their safety and Tri- State/Newnan Paddlers Meetup, trip leaders and organizers are not responsible for any injuries that may occur during meetup events. 6) Members recognize the inherent dangers involved in paddle sports. 7)By being a member you agree to the above terms.
