Meet up with other craft beer and music lovers to chat about favorite your pours and to pour over your favorite records! Each month we will meet at a local record store at 6:30pm to check out vinyl and other record store treasures. Then at close (typically 7pm) we will take a leisurely stroll to a nearby brewery to continue on the good vibes. Share your perspectives on drinks and music and hear a unique perspective from others - it's a great way to make friends by doing the things you already love doing. Bring a good sense of humor and an open mind. Oh, and dress for the weather. This is not a fitness walk, it's a social activity and a chance to check out some drinks and music in the company of good people. Well supervised kids and dogs may be welcome - please contact both the brewery and the record store to confirm. We will continue to meet and walk in the winter and the locations will be carefully selected to minimize outdoor time.

The purpose of this group is for members who enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and canoeing among other outdoor interests to come together to take trips, learn skills, and have fun!

This group is for anyone who 50 and older wanting to remain active and enjoy the activities available in Chicago. We welcome anyone who wants to meet new people & DO SOMETHING FUN! We will do more than just eat & drink, but we will have events that are centered on food and conversation. "Active" means doing some of what this great city offers. Events like music and dancing, shows and exhibits, theater and maybe an occasional movie. There will also be things such as dining and meet ups at coffee shops. In warmer months, there will be opportunities for outdoor activities. I live in Ch8cago and will primarily list events in Chicago. The Prairie Club of Chicago would like to invite members of the public to join us on some of our outdoor activities. The Prairie Club was founded in 1908. The Club began by organizing hikes into the country as a way for people to escape the crowded urban environment of Chicago and enjoy nature in and around the city. Outdoor activities and conservation have been core values for the Prairie Club since its inception. The Prairie Club played a prominent role in the establishment of the Cook County Forest Preserve system, the Indiana Dunes State Park, and the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. In addition to weekend hiking, we will offer opportunities for canoeing/kayaking, and bicycling events during the year.

This group is for anyone who likes to do fun things like festivals, walks, outings, coffee, bowling, movies etc... meetups will only be the 3rd week of each month starting in January 2025, unless the group wants it twice a month. By RSVPing to our events you agree to attend future events if you fail to do so you will be removed from the group. This is a group for any young professionals interested in hiking, camping, backpacking, running, exploring outdoors, challenging new things, etc. The main purpose to start this group is to meet good people and make friends as well as explore the nature together and build a better community. Please note that pets are not allowed on some trails or in some areas. **Show up on time!** While we appreciate feedback and constructive criticism about our hikes, rude, condescending comments or trying to stir up drama will not be tolerated and may result in your being removed from the group. This is a group to meet friends for outdoor adventures. It is not a dating site. Not everyone in this group is single and looking for a partner. Anyone who sends inappropriate messages or causes others to feel uncomfortable or unsafe will be removed from the group. A hike leader can chose to remove anyone from his/her hike for any number of reason: not meeting fitness requirement, incomplete profile, history of showing inconsideration by signing up and cancelling frequently, showing negative attitude on a previous event, no-shows or leaving disrespectful comments. No one is entitled to a spot on a hike, solely because you are a member and managing to grab a spot every time. The hike leaders in this group aren't professional hike leaders. You are responsible for your safety. By signing up for these events, you agree not to hold the Meetup organizers or the hike/event leaders of this group responsible for whatever happens to you on these events. The group is NOT responsible for any possible losses or injuries. This group exists due to countless hours spent by hike headers, and they are taking members on hikes for free. It is absolutely necessary you show respect and gratitude for their work, and their rules, or risk being banned from the group permanently. In addition, the group Organizer also has to pay Meetup fees every month. **Donations:** While the membership is free, it costs money to run this group and makes hikes possible. Meetup fees $198/year, plus other incidental charges are paid by the group's Organizer. We like to rely on small volunteer donations from those who join our group's hikes & adventures. There will be a couple hiking events every year for that and consider making a small donation (about $1-5 per hike attended is a reasonable amount). You can pay to your hike leader, and s/he can pass on your donation to the current Organizer.

Events include activities like nature walks, eating out, cultural events and whatever else you would like to suggest. All ages welcome, single or coupled, this group is for everyone.

The Mosaic Outdoor Chapter of Chicago is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Jewish people together to enjoy and foster a greater appreciation of the outdoors. We are a volunteer-led, member-driven organization that invites you to partake in a variety of activities with other Jewish outdoor enthusiasts. We welcome singles and couples, regardless of age, background, physical ability or religious denomination, but you must be 21 or older to join our Meetup group.  Mosaic Outdoor Chapter of Chicago is part of a national organization with clubs all over the country. There is a national event every year over Labor Day where you can meet like-minded folks from all over. Interested in going hiking, camping, skiing, sailing, backpacking, or taking a weekend road trip with a couple of people? That's the purpose of this group. **How it works:** Once a week a meet-up will be held at a bar. The goal of this meetup will be to provide a weekly touchpoint to get together and meet people with common interests outdoor interests in a laid-back setting. Once a month we will plan either a day or weekend trip.

“We're a meetup of likeminded Young Professionals looking to go on outdoor adventures with people our age. If you're looking to hike, run, bike, kayak, rock climb, snowboard or any other outdoor activity this is the group for you. We are also looking to expand into other social “group” activities like festivals, trivia, concerts and possibly sporting events. Via this group, We hope to create an inclusive, friendly, and welcoming environment to connect people through hiking and other activities. To achieve this, we need help from all of you. We don’t always know all the events that are going on. We do not charge for our events. Meet other local outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy Chicagoland and beyond.  In addition we'll have whitewater rafting, canoe and kayak events. In the winter we can offer a few ski events and whatever the membership proposes.  Please get involved by making suggestions for meetups or joining the leadership team.
