Welcome! This is a book group dedicated to reading Sci Fi and Fantasy and getting together every other Saturday to discuss our thoughts! Our goal is to read one book a month. Our books focus on adult fiction (as opposed to YA) and so members should be 18+ to attend. Meetings will alternate between the Hithertoo Coffee and Gaming Parlour and the Hancock County Public Library. Our current book is **Yumi and the Nightmare Painter** by **Brandon Sanderson.**

Hey everyone! I'm Chris. I'll be calling Indy home in a few months. Looking forward to moving beyond the craziness of the past 2.5 years, and people meeting IN-PERSON, to HAVE FUN, once more... I'll try to negotiate some good group rates with indoor clubs also, for the brrrrr days or rainy days. This is a couples group for couples to meet other couples, via social activities, group outings, happy hours, weekend Getaways, etc.! We all get busy. Trying to balance work and life is difficult, and it gets exhausting! With such little free time, sometimes social calendars get filled quickly and separately, and sometimes it’s easier to stay in due to the exhaustion. This group is an opportunity for couples to spend time together, but still get out socially. Indianapolis couples are encouraged, and while some events will be held throughout INDY/ Chicago, most activities will be at our home in Northeast Indianapolis. The goal is to have at least a couple of events a month, build friendships with other couples, and just have fun!

Started this group after relocating to Indianapolis. Previously, I had a Successful Meetup Group in NYC where I hosted MANY unique and quality events. Some of our activities include Happy Hours, Games Night, BBQ, POKER NIGHTS, Couple Events, Weekend Getways, Concerts, Boat Cruises, Themed Parties, Dinner and Movie, Clubbing, just to mention a few. Keep in mind that this group is all about fun, fun, fun... I guarantee you will always feel welcome and comfortable...

Indiana Craft Beer Fans, My name is Omar Habayeb. This group has a large number of fun local beer loving members. I used to organize Beer Bus tours for my friends and associates just for fun. As life happened, I passed along this group's ownership to other folks many years ago. I was checking an old email account and found that this group still exists, but hasn't been active. Perhaps we can change that. The goal for this group has always been to continue to celebrate and support the incredible Indiana craft beer scene, be able to network across our wide variety of members, and to have fun. In addition, I hope that this group can serve as a platform for folks to promote local INDIANA craft beer, beer events, fundraisers, and breweries. Indiana has one of the largest brewery scenes per capita in the country. Let's continue to support those that make this such an incredible state for beer drinkers! ALL 21+ years and older are welcome. Please feel free to invite Couples, Significant Others, Singles, Relatives, Friends, Work Associates, etc. The only requirement is that you either already enjoy local Indiana Craft Beer OR you want to learn to enjoy local Indiana Craft beer. My favorite local Breweries are: (not in any order but alphabetical): Bier Brewery, Books and Brews, Sun King Brewing, and Triton Brewing) I don't drink (beer or anything else) as much as I used to. Many of the breweries we used to take beer tours no longer exists and there are plenty of new entrants to the Indiana Craft Beer scene that I have never had a chance to visit. I am hoping to do more with this group in the near future. More to come.

We also schedule social events, including a summer picnic, General Assembly and Winter Banquet. About six times a year our club also sponsors multi-day hiking trips to Indiana state parks, national parks, other states and international locations. Join us on any hike or away trip as a guest.  Everyone 18 years or older is welcome as are children and grandchildren as long as an adult is willing to take responsibility for them. You do not have to be invited to join us as a guest and there is no fee. Simply show up for any hike at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. It is a club tradition to start the hike "on-time". But please no pets unless the hike is designated as a "pet hike". We hope to see you soon. Joining Meetup is not the same as being a member of the Indianapolis Hiking Club. We have only two requirements to join our club; you must be 18 years old and have hiked with us on two occasions as a guest. That's it.  There is no one time membership fee, just annual dues which are very modest; $25 for an individual and $40 for a family.  After you become a member your hiking mileage with the club will be tracked. Prior to joining you are welcome to hike as a guest as often as you wish – again no fee.
