If you are removed from this group - the same goes for any other meet up group affiliated with this one. Again this is a **non-commercial** group. Direct marketing, selling to the group's members is very uncomfortable and prohibited. Many of us have careers, jobs that require sales, work in the service industry etc. Remember, members join this group join it to have FUN! If for any reason you will not be joining us, it is your responsibility to be mindful and update your status to, "NOT GOING." Not doing so is not only rude and inconsiderate to the Organizer/Event Host & Members, but most times will cause a fellow member who may have been on a wait list not to be able to participate in the event. Meet up and Organizers send out and comment several reminders for each and every event. Any cancellation unless you have directly contacted the Organizer/Event Host within 2 hours of an actual event will be noted as a NO-SHOW. ALL no-shows are noted when we take attendance (Yes, we take attendance) " 2" NO-SHOWS will remove you from the group. If you are removed from this group - the same goes for any other meet up group affiliated with this one. \***WAITLISTS:** The Wait List, unless noted auto-populates. Once a member on the rsvp list attending changes their rsvp, the next person on the wait list is auto-added at ANY time. If you rsvp to an event and end up on the wait list, it is YOUR responsibility to stay in the loop if an opening becomes available. If for any reason there are changes - you changed your mind, etc. ? it only takes a moment to update your status to" not going." We definitely understand if an opening becomes available too close to the actual time of the event obviously leaving you without time to get there etc... and will definitely understand such circumstances. \* **LIABILITY RELEASE:** As a condition of attending our meet ups, you agree to hold harmless, and indemnify the Organizer/Event Host and his/her heirs, and all members and participants of this Meet Up group from any claims for injury, illness, death, and/or property damage including those caused by negligence, ignorance, inexperience and other reasons. NH Hike & Brews Club (20s, 30s, & 40s)

Exeter, NH

NH Hike & Brews Club (20s, 30s, & 40s)
This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, or 40s (must be 21+) who is interested in hiking, regardless of experience. The reason for the age restriction is to encourage younger adults to get out and enjoy the outdoors and make friends! For this reason, we mostly do easy to moderate difficulty hikes, but we occasionally do some more challenging hikes and camping trips for those interested and able. Typically (though not always), we will go out after each hike to a brewery or pub for food and beer. Often, members will bring beer up with them to enjoy and/or share at the top. All members are encouraged to post their own events here. Members who host events will have their dues waived. Events can be hikes, other outdoor excursions, visits to breweries, brewfests, parties, etc. If you are not sure if people would be interested in your idea, feel free to use the Discussion feature to ask! When you join, you will have a 6 month free trial before you are required to pay dues ($10 per year). I will send out an e-mail reminder before this happens. If you host at least one event for the group, you will never owe any dues. Our dues help pay for the annual Meetup organizer fees, and it is a way to encourage active memberships and event organizers (which means more fun events!). Any leftover money will be used for occasional meetup socials and/or parties. And beer! Rules for Membership: 1\. Treat everyone with respect\. 2\. Keep your RSVPs up\-to\-date if your plans change\, and please message your event host if you will be late\. We do not officially have a "no\-show" policy\, but we do keep track of no shows\, and if it becomes a problem\, you will be spoken to\. 3\. Be safe\! Make sure you are in good physical condition to handle the difficulty of the hike\, wear proper footwear\, bring water\, appropriate clothing for the weather\, and read event descriptions for other suggestions of equipment to bring\. You are responsible for your own safety\!

Casual Kayakers

Amesbury, MA

Casual Kayakers
Based on the north shore, but with members from all over northeastern Massachusetts, southeastern New Hampshire and beyond, this is the group for paddlers who enjoy their kayaking adventures at a laid back, leisurely pace. For us, it's not how quickly we can get from point "A" to point "B" while on the water. If your idea of kayaking means sharing with friends, new and old, the beauty of our local flat-water lakes and rivers as you paddle, then this group is for you. Some of the places we paddle include the Merrimack, Squamscott, Essex, and Charles rivers; Plum Island; lakes Massabesic, Pawtuckaway, Gardner and Chebacco; and Country, Tuxbury, and Great ponds. **Everyone is welcome to suggest paddle destinations and to help plan future activities, as this is what makes a fun and successful group.** We like to bike, too. See our companion Meet-Up group, **[North Shore Bicycling for Fun](https://www.meetup.com/North-Shore-Bicycling-For-Fun/)**. **AS** **A CONDITION OF ATTENDING THIS MEETUP, YOU AGREE TO:** Hold harmless, and indemnify the organizers and their relations and heirs, and all members and participants of the Meetup group from any and all claims for injury, illness, death, and/or property damage including those caused by negligence, ignorance, inexperience and other reasons. MERRIMACK VALLEY STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY -MVSP

Haverhill, MA

MERRIMACK VALLEY STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY -MVSP
This photography group is open to all photographers and models interested in developing their in studio lighting abilities and techniques for glamour, portrait, modeling, artistic or any other modified lighting situation. We schedule workshops regularly ranging from beginner lighting instruction to portraits in motion such as ballet and at times artistic.  They involve advanced lighting techniques to produce specific effects complementary to the workshops theme which varies with each session. We invite top models nationally and internationally.  You will find the workshops are informative and indicative of highest professional standards.    Locations for our workshops or seminars will vary from RiversEdge Studio of Photography, Haverhill MA  to greater Boston studio locations, and when weather permits to on site natural settings in the New England area.  In the Fall we will at times blend local sites and models  for exceptional imaging opportunities.    We are an adventurous and creative group....we are an active group!  We do schedule sessions that are in the most creative sense of artistic, and I have therefore limited viewing to members only, as many in our communities have no understanding of the arts in photography, its value, or its satisfaction granted to its creators, and obviously do not visit their MFA's or other art oriented institutions.  My first intro to Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon and other photography giants was at the Boston MFA, and I was always impressed by their insights into lighting and composition.  One of my photographic endeavors is to emulate as much as possible in their styles, yet create my own style in the process.  I am a professional photographer who began the metamorphosis in life careers some 15 years ago.   It has been an interesting journey! We all want to find our creative niche!  I ask of you that if you join this group, you take an active interest in photography, in particular portrait photography.   We are very lucky to have a studio setting for many of our sessions! Be active, seek, learn and enjoy! I do review membership periodically and am inclined to delete inactive members or members who seem to be here for no reason at all from the roster.  Thank you....Join accordingly!  Please feel free to message me with suggestions or inquiries!  Your organizer, Frank Simard
