This group is a way to expand your Christian social circle in the Seacoast area. It's an activity club for people who follow Jesus. Our events will primarily be game nights, dinners, Christian concerts and worship nights. Members should live in the Seacoast area so we can build an active group. Towns include: Portsmouth, Hampton, Exeter, Rye, Seabrook, New Castle, Stratham, Newington, Newmarket, Kittery, York, Eliot

This Group was created **temporarily** as two paid Organizer subscriptions (rising recently to $300/yr. each) were being merged into one subscription. No activities planned for this group. The **Walking Group** does walks on paved surfaces and light hikes in town forests Northwest of Boston. The **Exploring Group** does somewhat more ambitious hikes Northeast of Boston and may include an occasional bicycling or ski event. Both value social interaction and could end with a gathering at an eatery nearby. You are encouraged to join either of these two groups if not already a member.

Not ready to go indoors for the season? Let's meet up for some fall & winter outdoor activities like ocean walks, hikes, bike rides, cross country skiing, etc. We'll make it up as we go. No real skill level needed just an adventurous spirit and the desire to be outdoors.

Please join us for some fun, friends and paddling! Meet other local paddlers and outdoors enthusiasts! This meet-up was started for kayakers to get connected with others who share the enjoyment of kayaking. We are mostly beginner and intermediate paddlers, but all levels and ages welcome! Our main passion is kayaking but because we all love the outdoors you will see non-kayak trips posted on our calendar!

Since we have a diverse group of organizers you can find the type of trip that fits your energy level for that day. Our most popular trips are the leisurely paddle exploring New Hampshire’s beautiful lakes and slow moving rivers, with plenty of wildlife viewing and socializing. Sorry no white water!

This is a meet-up so there is no membership fee! We encourage members to get involved by posting trip ideas and leaving feedback on trips they have taken with us! If you do not have a kayak yet you will need to rent one and transport it to the put in site. 98% of the places we put do not have rentals at them.

This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, or 40s (must be 21+) who is interested in hiking, regardless of experience. The reason for the age restriction is to encourage younger adults to get out and enjoy the outdoors and make friends! For this reason, we mostly do easy to moderate difficulty hikes, but we occasionally do some more challenging hikes and camping trips for those interested and able. Typically (though not always), we will go out after each hike to a brewery or pub for food and beer. Often, members will bring beer up with them to enjoy and/or share at the top. All members are encouraged to post their own events here. Members who host events will have their dues waived. Events can be hikes, other outdoor excursions, visits to breweries, brewfests, parties, etc. If you are not sure if people would be interested in your idea, feel free to use the Discussion feature to ask! When you join, you will have a 6 month free trial before you are required to pay dues ($10 per year). I will send out an e-mail reminder before this happens. If you host at least one event for the group, you will never owe any dues. Our dues help pay for the annual Meetup organizer fees, and it is a way to encourage active memberships and event organizers (which means more fun events!). Any leftover money will be used for occasional meetup socials and/or parties. And beer! Rules for Membership: 1\. Treat everyone with respect\. 2\. Keep your RSVPs up\-to\-date if your plans change\, and please message your event host if you will be late\. What is S.E.E. Mates? What does S.E.E. mean? Well, it can mean lots of things! Ski - Snowboard - Swim - Socialize - Sing - Sea! Or, E? Explore - Experience - Engage - Eat - Exercise! In other words, it means something perhaps a little different for each of us! However, it brings us together! You will S.E.E!

This group is for women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s whose interests may delve into the nerdy or geeky side (things such as board games, sci-fi/fantasy, cosplay, etc.)! The group is aimed at making connections around shared activities and hopefully long term friendships! Examples of events we might do include: Board game nights, tea parties, paint nights, movie nights, murder mystery dinners, themed parties, visits to local museums, hikes, cultural activities, etc.! Everyone will be able to post or suggest events.

Based on the north shore, but with members from all over northeastern Massachusetts, southeastern New Hampshire and beyond, this is the group for paddlers who enjoy their kayaking adventures at a laid back, leisurely pace. For us, it's not how quickly we can get from point "A" to point "B" while on the water. If your idea of kayaking means sharing with friends, new and old, the beauty of our local flat-water lakes and rivers as you paddle, then this group is for you. Welcome Road Warriors - do you enjoy day, weekend or longer trips that will involve leisurely walks at the beach, hiking, golfing, Pickelball, theatre, live | concerts, museums, touring etc., then this is a group for you. Once arrived at a predetermined destination, groups will split up into prearranged activities of interest. This is a 55+ group for those who enjoy meeting new people and having fun.

This photography group is open to all photographers and models interested in developing their in studio lighting abilities and techniques for glamour, portrait, modeling, artistic or any other modified lighting situation. We schedule workshops regularly ranging from beginner lighting instruction to portraits in motion such as ballet and at times artistic.  They involve advanced lighting techniques to produce specific effects complementary to the workshops theme which varies with each session. We invite top models nationally and internationally.  You will find the workshops are informative and indicative of highest professional standards.    Locations for our workshops or seminars will vary from RiversEdge Studio of Photography, Haverhill MA  to greater Boston studio locations, and when weather permits to on site natural settings in the New England area.  In the Fall we will at times blend local sites and models  for exceptional imaging opportunities.    We are an adventurous and creative group....we are an active group!  We do schedule sessions that are in the most creative sense of artistic, and I have therefore limited viewing to members only, as many in our communities have no understanding of the arts in photography, its value, or its satisfaction granted to its creators, and obviously do not visit their MFA's or other art oriented institutions.  My first intro to Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon and other photography giants was at the Boston MFA, and I was always impressed by their insights into lighting and composition.  One of my photographic endeavors is to emulate as much as possible in their styles, yet create my own style in the process.  I am a professional photographer who began the metamorphosis in life careers some 15 years ago.   It has been an interesting journey! We all want to find our creative niche!  I ask of you that if you join this group, you take an active interest in photography, in particular portrait photography.   We are very lucky to have a studio setting for many of our sessions! Be active, seek, learn and enjoy!
