Looking to find people who like to get out and do activities during weekdays when everyone else is at work? Most meetup groups cater to the 9-5 crowd, this one doesn't. We may have activities on the weekends and evenings as well, but we're going to focus on the weekday mornings and afternoons. What do I mean by "Metro Northwest"? We are a fun group. You can find us dancing away after a meal of Chinese at Chopsticks. We do some hiking, karaoke, live music, local community gatherings, line dancing lessons and more. We are open to trying new things. We have a book club, a trivia night, and various other events to keep up young! This goal of this group is to meet new friends and have fun. This is a group for anyone interested in practicing tai chi or another internal martial art they are already familiar with. I created this group because I would like to practice the tai chi style I learnt outdoors (as long as weather permits) with like minded people, because practicing in a group would give us accountability and motivation to keep training and because it is more fun. I am not a tai chi instructor and this group is for anyone who would like to practice the style they are familiar with and we can exchange ideas and tips from each other. People interested in learning or who are active wood carvers should stop by. We meet in the area three times a week. If you are new to carving or wish to learn, we will help you get started. You do not need to bring anything to the first meetings, we will lend you tools and some wood. After that, you can be well set in this hobby for just over $100. Current members (about 25) range in skills from brand new to some of the best carvers in the world. We meet at the Westminster Senior Center, 69 West Main Street (just off route 2) Tuesday evenings from 5 pm to 8 pm and from 9 am until noon on Thursdays. Let's get together and have some fun with Tesla's synchronized light show feature. Please join me in watching or participating in a fun, kid friendly, multi-vehicle Tesla light show. The cars will synchronize to play a few, short songs and flash their exterior lights to the music. In addition to the lights, the light show may activate the trunk lid or tailgate, charging port, side mirrors, windows (and doors on a Model X). This can be disabled before starting the show. But please make sure you leave space around your vehicle before starting the light show. Check out the video to get an idea what it may look like. Please do not leave people or animals inside the vehicle during the light show because it will be very loud. Every light show (built-in and USB) starts out with a loud subwoofer thumb. That is the final warning to be out of the vehicle. The light show creates intense, flashing light sequences. Please do not attend if you are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photo-sensitivities.

Wachusett Business Incubator is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping promote the local economy by supporting expanded business activity.

This group has a simple theme, it’s for adults who like meeting other people and enjoy indoor and outside activities. 

Who should join? Anyone who is interested in hosting and/or participating in fun, social activities such as hiking, walking, dancing, bowling, week-end get aways, cruises, biking, movies, trips, cards, dominoes, dining out, potluck dinners, board games, etc. 

We encourage members to propose events as well as host events. If you offer up an idea with a date, you are committing to see the idea through by organizing, hosting, answering questions, and attending. 

You may have noticed that this is not an open Meetup group, meaning that only members can actually see who else is in the group and see the specifics of our activities. Membership dues are $10.00/year/person. Once your membership has been approved and you have paid the yearly dues, you'll have full access to our group. If you don't like making payments online, you can always email the organizer and you will be provided a snail mail address to mail a check.

Members in this group hail from the Concord, Manchester and Nashua areas. We would like to see some members join from other parts of New Hampshire as well.
