Welcome to Let’s Explore the Outdoors - Adventure Group. Do you like to do outdoor activities- stay in shape - socialize well this is the group for you. We are a very active group of men and women of all ages that lives in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia - we will be having events in those states. We will have activities such as biking- hiking at state parks - local trails. We will be camping at state parks - various camp sites. When it gets really warm we will be in search of tubing areas. We will be having some fishing events for those who has their fishing license. Those who are experts at swimming and knows their way around boats we will be having kayaking - canoeing events. Sometimes we may have social hour after our events- brunch or dinner and we may hear some local bands playing at various venues. when it gets really cold we will be going to ski resorts. Those who are very adventurous we will be going on backpacking trips through America and throughout the world. Those who are interested in doing online education we will be having online first aide classes. I will need event organizers right away planing to have a huge group with lots of activities. Big emphasis on event organizers. We will have once a month members meetings. Please have your group that you are part of shown public so I make sure you are a good fit.

Let's hike, bike, walk, kayak, explore, laugh, converse, and live well. This group is for you if you like to keep fit through fun activities, and enjoy stimulating conversation with new friends. Our group has been active since 2011. **Our Locale:** Most of our events occur in *Carroll County*. Few go outside of that area. Our main exception is our long distance strenuous hikes. These hikes are within 1 hour (or a bit more) driving distance from Westminster, MD. Consider your driving distance/time to join us on any of our adventures. **Membership Dues: CCFF@50** requests annual contributions in January that is used to pay for the site. This may requested again later in the year if contributions have not covered that expense. **Profile Photo Requirement:** Out of respect and courtesy to our event hosts and organizers, as well as other group members, we do require a clear profile photo of your person upon request to join our group. This is so that we can recognize you at our events. **Dog Policy:** CCFF@50 is a meet up group for "older adults." Some of our members may have allergies, osteoporosis, thin skin and other maladies as we age (sadly, we do). Owings Mills Co-ed Volleyball Club

Owings Mills Adult Co-ed Volleyball Club is an ongoing pickup game that has been in existence for 36+ years. The program is thru the Owings Mills Recreation and Parks Council. Drop in, pick-up games are on Mondays and Wednesdays 7:30-10:30 PM, at the Owings Mills High School gym, 124 Tollgate Rd., Owings Mills, MD 21117. After continuing the program by playing outdoors during the pandemic, we are excited that we will be back inside starting September 2021. This will begin a new season. ALL players MUST sign a release form in the gym, in order to participate. The new season is expected to run through June of 2022, which is expected to be approximately 90 events! Players pay $2 per day, or $75 for the entire season. It really is a very nice, fun program and a good way to get out and play ball. **This program is NOT for beginners. Intermediate to advanced level of play. Sometimes, play can be VERY competitive.** NOTE: Please make sure you sign up for receiving email alerts, as this is how we communicate cancellations due to inclement weather or other circumstances.

Each month, we hold at least one charity event in our community. This might include distributing food, clothing and other supplies to the homeless, visiting nursing homes, distributing back-to-school supplies, etc. We offer a number of groups which are open to the public -- both men's and women's ministry groups, youth groups, Hebrew education classes, and more. Unless otherwise stated, all of our events and activities are free of charge.

We also offer weekly worship services and open-discussion Bible studies to anyone who wants to join. We encourage anyone to join and participate as they feel comfortable.
