AACTMAD is the Ann Arbor Community for Traditional Music and Dance, a nonprofit participatory membership organization that enriches people's lives and sense of community through traditional music, dance, song, and related arts. We organize and sponsor over 100 traditional music and dance events each year that welcome the public. Our members actively learn and preserve many different types of traditional music and dance. With over 200 members, mostly in SE Michigan, we also support the traditional music and dance community as a whole, throughout Michigan.

Friends Outdoors is just that, friends who get together on a regular basis to have a great time together outdoors. Friends Outdoors are people who know each other or are connected with someone in the group who like to do outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, Standup Paddleboarding, bonfires, and possibly camping and other adventures, group choice. Group members know each other, or are referred by someone already a member, which is a safer way to participate in a hiking group, rather than hiking with strangers. Members should be physically fit enough to hike 3-6 miles at about 3.3-3.6 mph. We will start out slow and work up to longer faster hikes based on the member's ability and wants. **Huron Valley Moms’ Club (HVMC):** HVMC is for all moms. We serve moms living in Milford, Commerce, Highland, and White Lake, Michigan and surrounding communities. HVMC can best be defined by our slogan and mission statement - Honoring and Valuing Mothers and Children. HVMC is a non-profit organization that exists to provide a support base for all moms, whether they stay at home, or work full-time or part-time. I tend to like to do activities such as hiking, crafting, gardening, cooking etc. but could also schedule the occasional food or coffee meet if people are interested in that route. If you are looking to find local board game enthusiasts AND support local charities, this is the Meetup for you. OCG is a volunteer run charity organization that focuses on teaching board games as an avenue to build and strengthen personal connections and a local and online community to support our local charities.  All regular events are free and we have Coordinators on hand to assist you in joining groups to play games and make new friends.  The locations are chosen to support local community organizations and our annually adopted charity and offer the opportunity to support them while you play. We currently have members interested in everything from Catan and Ticket to Ride through Mare Nostrum and Food Chain Magnate, but this will ebb and flow depending on those participating.  Don’t worry if you’ve only every played games like Sorry and Monopoly.  Family board games have come a long way and OCG is here to teach and introduce you to next generation of games. This is a group for all soccer enthusiasts who like to play outdoors around the Plymouth area (Canton, Northville, Livonia.. etc.).  The players are at different level ..some who have not played in a while, to ones playing in rec. leagues .. from teens to over 40. We enjoy a fun game and a good outdoor workout. No rough tackles or aggressive/physical plays... we all need to go to work/school the next day :)  We usually have players from Brazil, Canada, Columbia, China, Korea, India, Ivory Cost, Mexico, Nigeria, Thailand, Jamaica, UK, US,.. A group for all of us atheists, agnostics, ex-religious and non-religious folks to meet each other in our own community. Our worship style is traditional in form with modern, contemporary elements mixed in. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and other special occasions.

Every Fifth Sunday is a "Family Sunday" in which the whole family can worship together and children participate in special ways to learn about worship.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

You can expect to be greeted with a warm smile, open heart, and the buzz of friendly chatter. You are welcome to grab a cup of coffee and a treat as you enter worship. After service, please join us for an extended time of hospitality with coffee, pastries, and other goodies. We would love to get to know you. Also, we invite you to turn in a Connection Card and pick up a free gift on your way out.

Children are invited to begin worship with their families. After the Gloria Patri, they are welcomed up for "A Time for Young Followers of Jesus" after which they will be dismissed to Sunday School. After the Hymn/Song after the Sermon, the children will be brought back into worship service. As a first-time guest, you are asked to come with them to fill out all the appropriate forms and meet the teachers.

The children will begin together with singing, then break up into two groups. Pre-K and Kindergarten kids meet in the Nursery, and Grade 1-5 meet their Kids Club Room.

Middle School and High School youth remain in worship service with the exception of "youth volunteer assistants".

Our nursery is staffed by volunteers or you may watch your own children if you choose. There is also a cry room at the rear of the sanctuary, where you can still participate and hear the worship service.

**Ann Arbor Sketchers** is a Meetup group based out of Ann Arbor for members who would like to sketch outdoors (and inside, in inclement weather) in the nearby company of other sketchers. The intention of this group is to encourage ourselves to spend more time outdoors, in picturesque settings, engaged in the quiet, shared activity of drawing. Come Winter season, we can continue inside, sketching at local museums, the Botanical Garden conservatory, and other settings. After each session, if members would like, we can meet up at a coffee shop and socialize, including sharing with each other what we drew (if a member so chooses). There are no artistic skills necessary to become a member of **Ann Arbor Sketchers**, just a willingness to forgo socializing as the central activity until after the sketching session is over. Events will be held outdoors (with seasonal considerations taken into account), exploring different sites in and around Ann Arbor. Note, this Meetup group does not consider creating art a competitive sport, rather we aim to promote drawing as an expressive outlet we can all participate in that can both enriching and fun. **BS Hiking is a Singles Hiking Group** for men and women, ages 20s on to 70s. BS Hiking targets the S/E Michigan area and provides an on-line forum for singles who are interested in hiking and other outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking along with social events. **WHAT WE DO:** Our goal is to offer at least one event every weekend. We schedule hikes at local venues, usually 5-7 miles. Hikes generally last about 2 hours. We schedule our signature morning hikes at Maybury State Park on most Sundays. Dates, times and locations for additional hikes vary. We are dog and kid friendly. **WHAT TO BRING:** Most of the trails/hikes are relatively easy BUT... everyone should wear appropriate shoes, i.e.,. hiking boots, hiking sneakers, etc. Waterproof, sturdy footwear is best, and shoe grippers are recommended in winter for better traction, especially on ice. Wear appropriate clothing. Hikes are not usually canceled even if it is raining, snowing, blistering heat, cold, etc. We recommend bringing water (at least 16 oz) to avoid dehydration. Our tennis group consists of a random group of people, some of which have been playing tennis for many years. We just kindly ask that you let the organizer know ASAP by sending a text/call, sending a Meetup message, or by posting in that Meetup’s discussion board so that they can make appropriate adjustments. 3. WAITLIST: Due to court availability, we place a limit of 8-12 players for each Meetup. If there are more than the limit, Meetup will automatically create a "Waitlist" and will move people from that list to RSVP if there's a cancellation. We respectfully ask that all players on this list be available to play in case someone drops on the RSVP list, even on the day of the Meetup. If you aren’t sure that you can make it please remove yourself from the waitlist. Note: If there are enough RSVPs on the waitlist, the organizers may open the Meetup to add a court for the players from the waitlist. This will depend on court availability at that particular location. 4. PHOTO: We request that members display their actual photo and name on our meetup site so we know who you are when you show up. 5. ARRIVAL TIME: We ask that all players do their best to show up on time and stay until the end of the meetup. When possible, we will switch partners and/or opponents for variety of play. 13. TENNIS BALLS: Bring some tennis balls! Please don’t assume everyone will have some.
