Welcome to the Hamtramck Hostel Meetup Group! Our group offers a variety of activities including movie nights, arts and entertainment events, and writing session. We believe in fostering a supportive community where all can have fun, explore their interests in movies, sci-fi series, good books, and arts. Friends Outdoors is just that, friends who get together on a regular basis to have a great time together outdoors. Friends Outdoors are people who know each other or are connected with someone in the group who like to do outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayaking, Standup Paddleboarding, bonfires, and possibly camping and other adventures, group choice. Group members know each other, or are referred by someone already a member, which is a safer way to participate in a hiking group, rather than hiking with strangers. Members should be physically fit enough to hike 3-6 miles at about 3.3-3.6 mph. We will start out slow and work up to longer faster hikes based on the member's ability and wants. Solar Outdoors is a Southeast Michigan based club with more than 400 members. Founded in 1975, Solar Outdoors remains dedicated to helping its members enjoy nature and outdoor activities. The purpose of our group is to give women the opportunity to socialize, meet new friends, and to have fun doing activities with other women.
